Lights, camera, action! may follow Spencer Pratt into the Mayor’s office.

The aspiring Mayor may have the cameras rolling upon assumption of office, documenting his activities at the seat of government in Los Angeles. The media has been a pivotal piece in his personal life and campaign, as he never shies away from making his voice heard online, notably calling out the authorities after the tragic wildfire.

Spencer Pratt stepped into the political realm with the backing of several entertainers in the industry and reality TV space. He has received generous financial donations and endorsements from industry stars.

The latest developments show that it seems Pratt is yet to say goodbye to the world of reality TV. He may get back into the life he knows best, even if he is elected Mayor of Los Angeles, because he signed a contract to document the first family of L.A.

Sources with direct knowledge have told TMZ that the media personality inked a deal with Boardwalk Pictures, a Los Angeles production company, to cover his political journey as he runs for a seat in power.

The sources also revealed that the contract specifically provides that the show will go on if he is sworn into office.

According to the details in the contract, the filming would not stop, but since all eyes are focused on the campaign, much is left undiscussed.

Pratt and the production company are yet to establish the dynamics of how the filming would continue if he wins the election in November 2026.

Insiders tell media outlets that his wife, Heidi Montag, and two sons, Gunner and Ryker, are a big part of the upcoming show that is currently being filmed.

The family of four has been living separately since they lost their home in the tragic Pacific Palisades wildfire last year. Montag has been living with the kids outside of L.A.

Pratt, on the other hand,  has been spending most of his time in the City of Angels, focused on running for office.

If he comes out victorious on election day, their living arrangement will most likely change, and they will presumably be living in the Mayor’s mansion in the Hancock Park area of L.A.

Pratt declared himself homeless recently, stating that he has not lived anywhere since his home was destroyed in the disaster.

He was reported to be living in an AirStream trailer prominently featured in his campaign ads and then called out for staying at the swanky Hotel Bel-Air.

Fellow MTV star, Kristin Cavallari, used her platform to endorse her support for the former reality TV star turned politician.

She told listeners on her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast that she stands behind Pratt, his ambitions in the political circle, and his vision for L.A.

She also stressed that she believes, if elected, Pratt will do his best to get the work done and “call out the corruption” lurking in the system before urging them to vote for the father of two.

On the topic of finances, Pratt has raised over half a million dollars in campaign funds for his mayoral race.

The Blast reported last month that he raised a total of $539,616.85, which was almost $50,000 more than the incumbent Mayor, Karen Bass.

The funds came from the pockets of many supporters, notably industry stars like Katharine McPhee, Rick Salomon, his fellow “The Hills” alum, Lauren Conrad’s ex, Doug Reinhardt, “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” and “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” producer Jeff Jenkins.

McPhee and her husband, David Foster, are going all out, doing “the best” they can to raise financial aid for Pratt’s campaign.

They have joined the long list of actors, musicians, powerful podcasters, reality stars, and daughters of former respected politicians to publicly back the father of two.

The couple hosted a star-studded event in their Brentwood mansion on Monday, tagged the “Spencer Pratt for Mayor” fundraiser. During the event, McPhee serenaded the TV star turned politician as Foster played the piano.

She sang of Tina Turner’s hit “The Best” but changed the lyrics, including a line where she boasted that Pratt is “better than Karen Bass and Nithya Raman,” who are his two main opponents in the L.A. mayoral race.

The Daily Mail detailed that Paris Hilton, Joe Rogan, and Meghan McCain are three of the most famous people who have supported Pratt, along with his “The Hills” castmates Audrina Patridge, Brody Jenner, and Brandon Thomas Lee. “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Mauricio Umansky is also standing strong in Pratt’s corner.

Besides canvassing for the funds and public support, there is more to sitting at the head of affairs of L.A., and incumbent mayor Bass questions if Pratt is up to the task.

She recently expressed that he has no “background or knowledge in how our government works,” noting that she had never heard of him or “The Hills” till he announced his intention to run for mayor.

Bass noted that gathering celebrity support and raising funds alone is not enough to secure a win at the polls, and she wonders how much of his following are actual L.A. registered voters who will mark his name on the ballot.

His younger sister, Stephanie, also echoed similar thoughts on social media a month after the former MTV star announced his candidacy.

She stressed that L.A. does not need an “unqualified and inexperienced mayor” but seasoned hands to perform efficiently in the role.

The Blast reported that Pratt holds a different opinion, as he previously said he believes becoming the mayor of Los Angeles will be “really easy” despite his inexperience.

He has made promises about the issues he intends to address once he is elected, saying that he would do what Bass failed to do while she was in office.
