Jack Osbourne and his mom, Sharon Osbourne, are in sync when it comes to the industry and politics.
The son of the late Black Sabbath vocalist showed that the apple does not fall far from the tree, as he voiced a very similar opinion to his mom’s stance on Hollywood elites who proclaim their political views via general stages.
Jack Osbourne has maintained a close, supportive relationship with his mother, Sharon Osbourne, which became even stronger following his father’s death last year.
Jack Osbourne’s Message To Hollywood Stars

Jack believes entertainers should maintain their circle and he does not shy away from expressing his thoughts.
The son of the late singer did not mince words when TMZ caught up with him and Sharon at Capitol Hill, asking if they were political.
Jack’s message to entertainers comes with simple words and three instructions that read, “make entertainment, entertain the people, and shut the f-ck up.”
The media personality stressed that Hollywood icons should serve entertainment in their capacity in the industry and steer clear of doubling down in politics.
When asked whether celebrities with big platforms and big opinions should use their voices to change hearts and minds, Jack told reporters that those folks are in the wrong line of work. Quite similar to the words his mom lauded earlier this year.
What Did Sharon Osbourne Say On The Matter?

Sharon shared her feelings about artists who choose to give politically motivated speeches at award shows.
She aired her views on a March episode of “The Osbournes” podcast during a conversation with Jack, explaining that everyone needs a break from the chaos in the world.
The former “X Factor UK” judge stressed that artists should save their political speeches for their own platforms instead of award shows.
She noted that while she “understand[s] [that] everybody needs their platform,” she also understands that “everybody needs relief from what’s going on in the world.”
“So, when they are on TV knowing that there’s 15 [to] 16 million people in this country alone watching, they want to use that platform to show everybody how emotional they personally are about a situation,” Sharon explained later in the conversation.
The Former ‘X Factor UK’ Judge Says The Masses ‘Live In Fear’

To buttress her point, Sharon explained that many people watching the televised shows and award ceremonies from the comfort of their homes are already living “in fear.” So, to have these celebrities bring up the troubles going on in the world whenever they are accepting awards can add to the unrest in viewers’ minds.
Fox News reported that the wife of the late iconic musician remarked that the public needs “a fu-king break,” especially when all they want to do is relax and enjoy the shows and be entertained. She, however, noted that the entertainers may see ward ceremonies as a “huge platform” to air their political stance, but they need to understand, “it’s not always about you.”
Sharon ended by throwing in a little piece of advice to the artists who routinely engage in the act: “Save it for your own little platform,” she urged.
Donald Trump’s Condolence To Sharon For Ozzy Osbourne’s Death

The news of Ozzy’s death cut through the hearts of many fans, family members, and friends. The Prince of Darkness passed away at the age of 76 in July 2025.
Later in the year, Sharon revealed that President Donald Trump had reached out to her, offering his condolences.
She played the voice recording from the politician to her kids, Jack and Kelly, on an episode of their podcast while they discussed the love they received following their patriarch’s demise.
“Hi, Sharon. It’s Donald Trump, and I just wanted to wish you and the family the best,” he message began.
Trump recalled meeting Ozzy during his lifetime and described him as “an amazing guy, unique in every way and talented.”
He noted that losing a partner was never easy before comforting the media personality and sending greetings to the family.
The Blast shared that later in the conversation, Jack mentioned that the family also got a “lovely letter from the King,” seemingly to express his condolences. Sharon revealed that King Charles has shown care to their family in the past.
Jack Osbourne And Sharon Osbourne Voiced Their Shared Grief

Jack and his mother have been vocal about handling the emotional struggle of losing Ozzy. The pair did not hold back, addressing their reality on “The Osbournes” podcast, along with Kelly, who admitted that she never understood the true depth of grief until her father’s passing.
The father of five likened the experience of losing his father to a rollercoaster, calling it “both horrible and beautiful.” He disclosed that the loss has deepened his sense of gratitude and love, making him cherish moments he once took for granted.
Sharon expressed that her grief rolls in like waves, noting that she has trouble going to bed because she is still adjusting to sleeping alone.
It could be on this note that she made the ultimate decision to put their Hancock Park home on the market officially. As reported by The Blast, the house is listed at $17 million but was purchased in 2015 for $11.85 million.
Ozzy and Sharon had listed the property briefly in 2022 for $18 million and later $17.5 million before taking it off the market during the heavy metal singer’s battle with Parkinson’s disease.
