The passing of Ozzy Osbourne, the rock legend, has prompted a significant transition for his family members, especially his wife, Sharon Osbourne.
As the world continues to reflect on the legacy of the late heavy metal pioneer, his widow is taking definitive steps to reorganize her life, as she has placed their Hancock Park home on the market.
Ozzy passed away in July 2025 at age 76 following a cardiac arrest at Harefield Hospital.
Sharon Osbourne Lists Historic Los Angeles Estate For $17 Million

Following Ozzy’s death, Sharon has officially placed their Hancock Park home back on the market with a $17 million price tag. The couple originally purchased the 1920s estate in 2015 for $11.85 million and had previously considered selling it in 2022 while planning a move to the United Kingdom.
Although they briefly listed the property for $18 million and later $17.5 million, they ultimately decided to withdraw it from the market during Ozzy’s battle with Parkinson’s disease. Now, following his passing, Sharon is moving forward with the sale while splitting her time between London and Los Angeles.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the sprawling 10,200-square-foot residence sits on roughly half an acre and features a main house, a renovated guesthouse, and a brand-new pool.
During their decade of ownership, the Osbournes meticulously renovated the property to preserve its early 20th-century character. Outside, the estate features a loggia with an imported European fireplace.
The Osbourne Family Opened Up On Their Shared Grief

While the sale of the Hancock Park estate marks a major physical transition, the emotional weight of Ozzy’s passing remains a central focus for his family.
In November, Sharon, Kelly, and Jack recorded a podcast to candidly discuss the “horrible” aftermath of losing the rock icon. During the emotional podcast, Kelly admitted she never understood the true depth of grief until her father’s death.
“I never realized just how horrible grief is. I never knew I was capable of loving somebody so much and missing somebody so much, I just, I never thought there’d be a day where he wouldn’t be here,” Kelly said, per The Blast.
Sharon also revealed her own personal struggles, explaining that grief hits her in “waves” and that she particularly dislikes going to bed because she is still adjusting to sleeping alone.
Despite their individual pain, the family agreed that the massive outpouring of public love has been a vital source of comfort.
The Osbourne Family Honors Ozzy’s 77th Birthday With Heartfelt Vows

Just as they shared their grief together, the Osbourne family similarly honored Ozzy’s lasting legacy on his posthumous birthday. In December 2025, Sharon and Kelly marked what would have been the late Prince of Darkness’s 77th birthday with poignant tributes on social media.
The Blast reported that each shared emotional posts that combined personal vows with reflections on their first holiday season without the rock legend.
Standing on the Black Sabbath Bridge in Birmingham, Kelly honored her father’s memory by visiting a floral display that featured purple flowers spelling out “Happy Birthday Ozzy.”
Sharon also shared a moving tribute on social media. In her caption, she celebrated the day her husband of 43 years was born and made a touching promise to “never let go” of his hand until they eventually reunite.
Sharon Osbourne Explains Stepping Back From Suicide Pact

The family’s collective commitment to honoring Ozzy’s legacy was once tied to a much more somber agreement that Sharon eventually decided to break.
For years, the couple was open about a mutual suicide pact they had established, planning to end their lives together at the Dignitas facility in Switzerland if either suffered from a degenerative brain illness.
However, following Ozzy’s death, Sharon explained why she chose to stay behind. She revealed that while she felt she had already accomplished everything she wanted in life and was prepared to go with him, her perspective shifted because of her children.
Sharon shared that she didn’t want to inflict the pain of losing both parents at the same time on Aimee, Kelly, and Jack, per The Blast.
Sharon Osbourne Praises Grammy Tribute To Ozzy

While Sharon’s commitment to her children remains her primary anchor, she has also found solace in the global celebration of Ozzy’s musical legacy. This was most evident in February, when the Osbourne family attended an emotional tribute to the late rocker at the Grammy Awards.
As reported by The Blast, watching from the audience, Sharon, Aimee, Jack, and Kelly were visibly moved to tears as a supergroup of rock icons took the stage to honor Ozzy.
The tribute featured an electrifying performance of the Black Sabbath classic “War Pigs,” led by Post Malone alongside legendary musicians Slash, Duff McKagan, Chad Smith, and Andrew Watt.
Following the ceremony, Sharon took to X to express her deep gratitude, describing the performance as a historic moment that transcended a simple musical act.
