Eminem‘s ex-wife is back in cuffs for ramming into another vehicle.
The rapper’s former lover, Kim Scott, was taken into custody just days after she appeared in court and pleaded no contest to the impaired driving charges she currently faces. The charges were brought up as a result of a crash between the singer’s ex’s car and a parked vehicle in February.
Eminem’s ex-wife seemingly appeared to have been driving under the influence when the first crash occurred. Over the years, she has been vocal about her struggles with substance abuse and depression.
Eminem’s Ex-Wife’s Second Arrest In 2026

Scott has been arrested again after allegedly hitting another parked car on Wednesday night. This occurred just days after pleading no contest to two pending misdemeanors connected to a previous crash. As it stands, it is unclear where she was driving to or coming from.
More details of the recent crash remain undisclosed; however, Chesterfield Township Police Department Detective Sergeant Joseph Feld Scott gave TMZ a peek into the incident. The sergeant said that Scott allegedly struck a car in the 21 Mile Zone near Detroit around 9:20 PM on Wednesday.
The cops took the rapper’s ex into custody and booked her on a suspected DUI charge at Macomb County Jail in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, early Thursday morning. Currently, it appears she has been released. Scott’s sentencing for her February DUI is set for June. It’s unclear if this most recent arrest will affect proceedings.
Kim Scott Did Not Own Up To Her Actions After Hitting The Parked Truck

The February incident occurred on Scott’s street. She crashed into the parked truck while taking her son, Parker, and three of his teenage friends shopping. After hitting the vehicle, the rapper’s former partner did not stop but drove home instead and crashed into her own garage door.
The authorities were alerted by one of her neighbors, and after speaking to her, she was taken to the hospital to be treated for unspecified injuries. Body cam footage from the previous incident shows Scott taking a breathalyzer test, although she initially denied being under the influence.
Police officers who searched the automobile found bottles that reportedly had soda spiked with liquor in them. The traffic-related offense led to her appearance in court on Monday, where she pleaded no contest to impaired driving and failure to report an accident.
The Initial Crash From Scott’s Point Of View

Scott reportedly crashed her white Range Rover SUV on February 1, 2026, near her home in Michigan, into a parked truck, sending it roughly 50 feet from its original parked position. The Blast reported that footage from her conversation with the authorities outside her home after the collision detailed her narrative on the event.
She alleged that the crash was caused by another driver in a “little blue car” that suddenly swerved into her lane. At the moment, she had “no choice” but to veer into the pickup truck parked nearby. “I didn’t see the pickup truck, but I felt the impact and my car felt the impact,” the “Mockingbird” singer’s ex told police officers.
Scott seemed to blame everyone but herself during her conversation with the authorities. She told them that her son and the other children in her SUV were “screaming and yelling” because they believed someone was following them. The 51-year-old claimed that this chaos also contributed to the accident.
When asked about whether she had consumed alcohol or narcotics, she initially said “no,” then later admitted that she did, “an hour, two hours, maybe three hours ago.”
The Accident Did Damage To The Mom-Of-Three’s Property

As reported by The Blast, Scott incurred some damage from the collision to her car and her garage door. Released photos showed the white Range Rover with visible damage, including a smashed passenger-side headlight and bumper damage.
Reports claimed she struck another object while pulling into her driveway after the initial collision before ramming into her garage door. The uploaded pictures showed a partially collapsed garage door.
It, however, remains unclear which collision caused most of the visible destruction to the vehicle. In addition to operating a vehicle while intoxicated, she has also been charged with failure to stop or identify herself after allegedly causing property damage.
The damages seemingly did not stop at Scott’s car and garage, but she also suffered unspecified injuries. The extent of the injuries and details of her condition were not disclosed; notably, there were no reports of bodily harm to the kids in the car at the time of the crash.
Eminem’s Ex-Wife Played A Role In His Substance Abuse And Sobriety

Eminem has been vocal about his struggles with substance abuse, detailing how deep he went to the point where he almost lost his life.
His relationship with Scott was rocky, which he revealed on one of his songs titled “Kim.” The pair married in 1999, divorced in 2001, briefly remarried in 2006, and share a daughter, Hailie Jade.
About a year after their second divorce, the rapper’s life flashed before his eyes as he turned to drugs as a coping mechanism for his personal struggles. At the time, Eminem shared that he was taking up to 20 pills daily till he collapsed on his bathroom floor in December 2007.
The Blast shares that Hailie Jade was one of the biggest reasons the award-winning singer decided to get sober. He missed her first guitar recital due to his overdose, and he was filled with guilt.
From that moment, Eminem decided that if not for anything, he would sober up for Hailie’s sake. He went to rehab in 2008 and has remained sober ever since, recently marking eighteen years on his journey.
Will this arrest be a wake-up call for Eminem’s ex-wife?
