Rapper Future is not going down without a fight!
The musician claps back at one of his many baby mamas, who previously dragged him to court over their 12-year-old son, requesting that he be sent behind bars. The legal battle rages on between the former lovers as new claims from opposing sides come to light.
Rapper Future has more than a basketball team of kids whom he welcomed with different women. Over the years, he has been dragged to court on several occasions by his baby mamas on requests for child support and paternity disputes.
Rapper Future Fires Back At His Baby Mama With Contempt Claims

Future has requested that a judge find his former lover in contempt of court. This comes weeks after Brittni Mealy, who is the mother of his 12-year-old son Prince, was accused by the musician of leaking info about him to the media.
Many details about the filed motion are redacted, but according to the court documents obtained by TMZ, the artist wants the judge to sanction Mealy for violation of court orders. The filing seems to be in line with his claims that she has been leaking information about him to the press.
Mealy previously included emails from her son’s father’s team, where they stated that they believe she leaked her lawsuit to the press in the court documents. She, however, vehemently denies the allegations.
In the filing, Future asked the court to find his baby mama in civil and criminal contempt for her actions and wants her to pay his legal fees.
Brittni Mealy Wanted The Rapper Held In Contempt Too

Mealy, who is being represented by “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Eva Marcille’s partner, Michael Sterling, previously filed a motion for Future to be held in contempt of court. She alleged that the musician has failed to obtain a court-ordered $500,000 life insurance policy for their young son, Prince.
She claimed that since Future failed to comply with the 2023 court order to obtain the insurance and name her as the trustee for Prince, he should be thrown in jail and held in contempt until the issue is completely resolved.
She also claimed that the rapper had not seen their son in 16 months. Future later denied Mealy’s claims before clapping back with his recent lawsuit. This is not the first time the ex-lovers have gotten into a legal brawl.
The Ex-Lovers Previously Battled Over Child Support

As earlier reported by The Blast, in 2023, Future was ordered to increase his monthly child support for his second son from $3000 to $5000. The judge ruled on the $2000 increase based on the assessment of the rapper’s monthly income.
Comparing Future’s wealth in 2014, when he was ordered to pay $3000 for Prince, to what he made in 2023, there was a significant increase in his monthly income. The 42-year-old musician reportedly made $30,000 monthly while his baby mama came home with less than half of his monthly income.
The judge’s ruling stated that the increased child support was necessary and was based on the “substantial change in the income and financial status of the Father.” Mealy, whose request was granted two years after filing the petition in court, reportedly held a $14,00 monthly income at the time.
Mealy also accused Future of failing to see their son on a regular basis. The documents labeled her claim as a failure to “exercise his scheduled parenting time.” On that note, she requested that the singer cover the additional expenses for their son, which she bore when Future was absent.
The ‘March Madness’ Rapper Has Tumultuous Relationships With His Baby Mamas

Future has a large family, welcoming eight children with eight different women, and this seems to be a fertile ground for continuous conflicts and legal wars. The singer has never been married to any of his children’s moms and has only been engaged to one. Apart from his baby mamas, he has gotten into several romantic relationships with other women over the years.
Future welcomed his first child, Jakobi, with former lover Jessica Smith, in 2002. They continued to coparent despite their failed relationship, but it was not smooth sailing. Smith and Future appeared in court on a number of occasions over child support payments and paternity drama. The Blast shared that in 2016, Smith demanded that Future increase financial support for Jakobi amid allegations that he was a very negligent parent.
In 2019, it seemed history repeated itself for the musician, as Eliza Seraphin also dragged him to court over their daughter, Reign Wilburn. Questions about Reign’s paternity raised dust as Seraphin had previously claimed she was in it to earn money from her baby daddy. The paternity dispute was resolved via a court-ordered DNA test in 2020, and Future was ordered to pay $3200 monthly child support dues.
Existing Controversy Tied To One Of Rapper Future’s Baby Mamas

Around the same time when Sepharin dragged the “Codeine Crazy” singer to court over Reign’s paternity, another woman, identified as Cindy Parker, also headed to court to request for support for her child, Legend Wilburn, born in 2019. She claimed that Future was the father of her then 1-year-old son and was determined to prove it.
During her court battle, Parker reached out to Seraphin and had their kids both submit to DNA tests. The Blast reports that the results showed that the kids had a 99.9% probability of being half-siblings. Months later, it was reported that Cindy quietly dismissed her paternity battle against Future.
All signs point to a settlement being reached outside of court, although Future has never acknowledged or claimed Legend as his child. In 2020, the two baby mamas came together during Christmas and had their kids meet each other for the first time. They shared a bunch of cute clips of them staring at each other online.
Who will emerge victorious in Future’s ongoing case with his baby mama?
