Kanye ‘Ye’ West is finding comfort in the little things.
The popular artist is keeping things on a low-key status, down to what he puts in his mouth after the backlash and scars his career suffered due to the words that made their way through his lips. Since his previous hiccup, which led to a UK ban, the rapper, who changed his name to Ye, has struggled to make amends with little progress.
Kanye ‘Ye’ West ignited controversy after his social media rants and antisemitic stance, which he has since publicly blamed on bipolar disorder, amid offering apologies.
Kanye West Shuts Out The Noise With A Quiet Date With His Wife

Ye has been doing a good job keeping his personal life lowkey amid the swirling waves of his spiraling career. The rapper was spotted on a casual breakfast date with his wife, Bianca Censori, as they stopped to get some fast food at Denny’s in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The lovebirds went out dressed in coordinated, dark, simple outfits. The artist went for a casual, cozy vibe with a hoodie, gray graphic T-shirt, a pair of leather pants, and black chunky sneakers. His architect wife, on the other hand, was clad in an off-shoulder catsuit, which she paired with a pair of cropped opaque tights and clear-heeled sandals.
Photos uploaded to The Daily Mail show the pair exiting the restaurant as Censori typed on her phone, holding her car keys, while her husband walked closely behind her. This breakfast date comes after the pair was spotted enjoying a night out at Chateau Marmont.
The Controversial Rapper Is Barred From Setting Foot On U.K. Soil

This appearance reportedly marks the first time Ye’s face has been publicly seen after he was barred from entering the United Kingdom. Earlier this month, the government barred the artist’s attempts to travel to London amid the heavy frenzy over his anti-Semitic comments. The award-winning artist planned to travel to London earlier this month following backlash to his planned set at the Wireless Festival.
He has not performed in the UK for over a decade now and counting. The last time he took the stage on English soil was when he headlined the Glastonbury Festival in 2015. He applied for an Electronic Travel Authorization on April 6 but was denied entry to the UK. The upcoming three-day festival, initially scheduled to take place in July, has been canceled, and organizers say refunds will be issued to all ticketholders.
Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood banned the rapper from entering Britain to perform at the festival on the grounds that his presence would “not be conducive to the public good.” Sir Keir Starmer also insists that the musicians “should never have been invited to headline Wireless.” Starmer stressed that he “stands firmly with the Jewish community” against antisemitism.
The ‘Gold Digger’ Hitmaker Moves To Make Amends

As reported by The Blast, Ye is trying to get back into the Jewish community’s good graces and seemingly revive his career. Last week, the Grammy winner was spotted leaving a Jewish human rights center. A video from the night of April 20 showed him stepping out of the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Beverly Hills, but no details were provided on his actions inside the center.
Kim Kardashian’s ex did not engage with the cameras as he silently left the building and headed to his vehicle. His visit to the Jewish human rights center was seemingly part of ongoing efforts to pull himself up once more and seek forgiveness from the Jewish community for his past antisemitism.
This occurred a few days after his performance in France was scrapped as the French government claimed they also want nothing to do with him. Ye had been scheduled to perform in France this June at the southern port city of Marseille.
More Countries Are Cutting Ties With The Father Of Four

The musician’s high-profile career continues to suffer setbacks as more hiccups flood his path. He kicked off his 2026 world tour to promote his new album “Bully” but has been met with many canceled stops, including France, the UK, Switzerland, and Poland.
Italy moves to join the train as cancellation is in sight for the artist’s upcoming performance at the RCF Arena in the Northern Italian city of Reggio Emilia on July 18. The city of Reggio Emilia’s Jewish community, anti-fascist resistance groups, trade unions, and politicians are all calling for the music festival’s cancellation. The Blast reports that the media personality is set to be a headliner for the Hellwat Festival and perform in front of an audience of over 100,000 people.
This event would supposedly mark one of the biggest performances of the controversial rapper’s career. Pina Picierno, vice president of the European Parliament and senior member of Italy’s Democratic Party, has urged the Italian government to follow the steps of France and the UK to take action against Ye’s entry to Reggio Emilia.
Kanye West Seems To Be In A Hole Of Legal Drama

The “Heartless” artist is a regular when it comes to legal drama, and at this point, they seem to be never-ending. Ye has seen at least two new lawsuits in the first quarter of 2026, including one for an alleged incident that took place a year ago.
The man, who filed the lawsuit under the alias John Doe, is suing the rapper for battery and infliction of emotional distress. He claims that during an encounter with the entertainer at Chateau Marmont in April 2025, he was left with injuries caused by Ye.
The plaintiff alleged that the father of four walked over to his table and punched him out of the blue. He claims they had no prior encounter or altercation and that the attack was unprovoked. He further claimed that the musician’s punch “knocked him to the ground,” causing him to lose consciousness after hitting his head.
The Blast shared that the plaintiff is suing Ye for an unspecified amount for damages, unlike his former security guard, Jonathan Momroe, who sued for nearly $1 million in damages. Monroe accused Ye of failing to pay his wages and of having other issues. He stated that he started working for the entertainer in 2021, but was neither compensated for his work nor overtime hours.
