Kristin Cavallari may not have full faith in politicians, but she has high hopes for Spencer Pratt.
The TV personality has announced that she is in total support of her fellow MTV star’s decision to step into the world of politics, running for Mayor of L.A. in the upcoming elections.
Kristin Cavallari believes in Spencer Pratt and his plans for Los Angeles, some of which he has shared after announcing his intentions to occupy office in January.
Kristin Cavallari Calls Spencer Pratt A ‘Genius‘ For Running For The Mayor’s Office

Cavallari did not mince words as she discussed the hot topic of politics and Pratt’s involvement in the dirty game. She shared her mind on an episode of her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast, which aired on Tuesday, April 21. The TV star started by revealing that a lot of people have bugged her about the topic of her castmate running for Mayor, so she decided to let the cat out of the bag.
“I think Spencer running for Mayor is f-cking genius. Because I think everyone in politics, I don’t care what side you’re on, everyone is corrupt,” the 39-year-old star began, adding that she views politics as a game with an agenda to keep the people divided.
Furthermore, she stated that the reason she loves the idea of Pratt running for Mayor is that “he is a real person who is going to call out the corruption” in Los Angeles. Cavallari shared that she believes that because Pratt lost his house in the Palisades fire, in addition to all the corruption he has witnessed in the city, he would actually “get sh-t done.”
The Podcaster Urged Listeners To ‘Vote For Spencer Pratt’

Cavallari continued, sharing on her podcast that anytime she hears Pratt speaking about the ongoing corruption, he always hits the nail right on the head with the points he makes. She expressed how she loved the moves he is making, adding that most people in California also love it and are excited for the reality TV star.
Later in the podcast, she addressed the issues of having different political views and citizens fighting over politicians. She stressed that as a society, it is more important to come together, have a united front, and “f-ck politicians across the board.” Before signing off, Cavallari also addressed rumors that she’s MAGA, clarifying that she doesn’t fall “on one side or the other.”
The mom of three noted that she is very passionate about Pratt’s cause, expressing love for him and his wife, Heidi Montag. “So vote for Spencer Pratt, go fu-king Spencer. This is what we need right now,” Cavallari added.
The Aspiring Mayor Wants The Old Los Angeles Back

Pratt appeared on a recent podcast with Joe Rogan, where he put his heart on the table, sharing his motive for getting into politics. He told the host how appalled he is with the way things have taken a nosedive in the city, from the authorities down to the residents.
The former reality TV star said ‘I’m fighting to get L.A. back to what I grew up in,” adding that the city was beautiful and one reason he aspired to be on a TV show, become famous, and be part of Hollywood was that he saw L.A. as “magical.”
Pratt further explained that Hollywood Boulevard should be the greatest tourist attraction in the world, but the state of things had deteriorated so badly that even if he were offered money, he would not go there. “The Hills” star disclosed that most people, when driving by with their children, will have them staring at an iPad just to avoid them looking out the window and seeing a disgusting occurrence.
“Meth addicts will just be having sex on the side of the street. There’s just naked people everywhere,” the Mayoral candidate told Rogan, as reported by Wonderwall. Rogan, in response, affirmed his support for Pratt, stating that even though he cannot vote since he is a Texas resident, he was rooting for Pratt.
Pratt Announced His Intention On The Anniversary Of The Wildfire

As previously reported by The Blast, Pratt disclosed his plans to run for Mayor this January to the listeners at the “They Let Us Burn” rally in Pacific Palisades while criticizing the current city’s government. He stressed that those in high places in the city failed to protect their citizens, referencing the wildfire that took place a year ago.
The destructive fire affected over 37,000 people, claiming a lot of property, houses, and 12 lives. Pratt blamed the authorities, saying that the fire did not happen by accident but was due to negligence on the part of the authorities. He further stressed that they had been careless and were dodging accountability for their actions in the tragic situation.
The MTV star called out those in power for practicing nepotism, highlighting that such acts only favored the elite, leaving the rest of the population to drown in the rubble. The father of two said the nonchalant mindset of business as usual was not getting anything done in Los Angeles, hence his decision to step up to the plate and take real action for the sake of the masses.
Spencer Pratt’s Agenda For Office Includes Tackling Homelessness

Pratt has not held back in sharing his aims and what he plans to achieve for the city if he gets elected as Mayor. “The Hills” alum previously shared that one big thing he has noticed is the high level of homelessness in L.A. He added that the ever-growing number of homeless people, despite government efforts and intervention, is sickening. As shared by The Blast, Pratt seems to have done his homework on the topic, as he said that the city has reportedly spent billions on combating the issue, only to come up short.
The 42-year-old revealed his intentions to bring in auditors and investigators from the IRS if he successfully gets a seat at the top in the city. Their job would be to look at “all of the scammers that are stealing our taxpayer money and increasing homelessness.” He promised the audience that their support would not be vain, as he would see that the issue of homelessness would be duly dealt with.
Pratt seemingly feels drawn to the cause due to his personal experience after the wildfire claimed his home and that of his parents, along with several sentimental pieces that were dear to him throughout his life. The reality TV star previously revealed that his mother could not get her passport out of the home, and the idea of his parents’ home burning down next to the ocean was too surreal for him to believe.
