Caitlyn Jenner has revealed she is unable to travel internationally after her recently renewed U.S. passport was issued with a “Male” gender marker, despite her decade-long transition.
People are now calling her out on social media on the issue, particularly because she supports Donald Trump and the growing anti-trans rhetoric, saying it serves her right.
Looking back on her journey so far, Caitlyn Jenner shared that she felt like a “hypocrite” for accepting a Glamour “Woman of the Year” award.
Caitlyn Jenner Pleads With Trump Following Issue With International Passport

Caitlyn Jenner has opened up about her inability to travel outside the country due to a mix-up with her gender on her international passport.
The former Olympic champion, born William Bruce Jenner, underwent gender reassignment surgery back in 2015 and came out as a transgender woman.
However, following a January 2025 executive order from President Donald Trump as well as a U.S. Supreme Court ruling later that year, the State Department was mandated to implement a passport policy that limits sex markers to a person’s birth sex.
In a recent appearance on the “Tomi Lahren Is Fearless” podcast, Jenner revealed she is unable to travel because her passport now bears the “male” gender marker.
“What do I do? I can’t travel internationally anymore,” she said per the IBTimes, explaining that the documentation doesn’t align with her appearance.
The Trans Reality TV Star Has Taken The Issue To Trump: ‘We’re Going Too Far Right’
The reality TV star added that she’d personally taken the issue up to President Donald Trump’s notice, writing to him for a workaround or reconsideration of the policy after a visit to Mar-a-Lago, but has yet to receive a reply or help in that regard.
Jenner, who is widely pro-Trump and publicly maintains a conservative stance on transgender issues, said that she has chosen not to call Trump even though she has his private number.
Although she didn’t deviate from her public support for Trump, lauding how she’d been privileged to meet him and Melania before, she expressed concerns that things may be going too far.
“Now we’re going too far to the right, you know, with gender markers,” she said, going on to raise concerns about tighter restrictions on bathroom use.
Caitlyn Jenner Laments That Her Friends Are Being Forced ‘Into The Men’s Room’

“I have so many of my friends who are just, you know, just gorgeous women,” she said. “Trying to force these people into the men’s room. And it’s just not right. And it’s not safe.”
Meanwhile, Jenner doesn’t believe her own transitioning more than a decade ago has changed anything, as she laments how it has been politicized by people she shares different views with.
“Unfortunately, I don’t think I helped it at all,” she said. “The left kind of took my issue.”
Social Media Blasts Caitlyn Jenner For Her Pro-Trump Stance: ‘Karma’

Social media users are calling Jenner out on her latest inconvenience, noting that her pro-Trump nature and conservative voice on gender issues aren’t saving her from policy changes that affect transgender people.
“Why should she get special treatment? People hate when the consequences of their actions come calling,” an X user wrote.
Another person said, “Caitlin supported Trump, she voted for it, so she needs to live with it, rather than ask for special favors whilst other trans women and men are thrown under the bus. You reap what you sow.”
“Sorry, Caitlyn. You supported it, now you have to deal with it,” a third user penned, while someone else said, “Oh no, the exact thing that we all told you would happen has in fact happened.”
Another person commented, “Karma has just been doing the WORK on these people. Love to see it!”
“Aww BLESS’ HIS’ HEART,” one more individual wrote, adding, “KARMA COMES FOR ALL, and she is a TOTAL B-TCH when she finds you.”
Caitlyn Jenner Claims She Felt Like A ‘Hypocrite’ Accepting The Glamour Women Of The Year Award

Elsewhere on the show, Jenner reflected on her journey so far and how she’s in love and at peace with her identity.
“I’m still XY. Biologically, I’m female. Everything’s fixed,” she told the host, referencing her surgery. “But genetically, I’m still XY. There’s nothing I can do about that. And I’m fine with it. I’m just glad that I can wake up in the morning and just be myself.”
The Olympic gold medalist added, “I have no regrets about what I did.”
Reflecting on her regrets for accepting the Glamour “Woman of the Year” award, Jenner told Lahren that her position on women’s sports left her feeling like a “hypocrite,” as it was at odds with her identity as a “biological male.”
“I started thinking, ‘What a hypocrite I am,’ trying to keep biological men out of women’s sports, but I’m a biological man, and they gave me Glamour’s Woman of the Year Award,” she said.
