Jimmy Kimmel has once again taken another brutal swipe at Donald Trump following his reaction to Robert Mueller’s death.
Over the weekend, the former FBI director passed away, prompting an outpouring of condolences. Trump, however, came in with a different tone, appearing happy over the sad news.
The leader’s words have not sat well with many, especially Kimmel, who has long been one of his most vocal critics.
Jimmy Kimmel Says Donald Trump Should Have Kept ‘Shut’ About Robert Mueller’s Death
Kimmel did not hide his displeasure with the 79-year-old’s remarks and attacked them during his monologue on Monday’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
Kimmel read Trump’s post saying, “Robert Mueller just died. Good, I’m glad he’s dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people!” Kimmel quickly quipped, “meaning him, I guess.” He went on to mock Trump’s credibility, joking that he lies so often and, despite his busy schedule, “he will always carve out time to be a petty little b–h.”
Kimmel went on to honor Mueller’s legacy, highlighting his service as a Marine in Vietnam and his Purple Heart, awarded for rescuing a fellow soldier under fire.
Comparing Mueller’s accomplishments with Trump’s, Kimmel joked that the only similarity between the two men was that “Trump dodged Vietnam and wore bronzing cream.”
The comedian also addressed comments from U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, who defended Trump by pointing to the “illegal raid” targeted at him. However, Kimmel clarified that the late FBI director wasn’t responsible for the Mar-a-Lago search, and reminded viewers what the Mueller Report was actually about.
Concluding his blast, Kimmel pointed out that Trump’s post was unnecessary. “The thing that makes it so deeply childish is Trump didn’t have to say anything,” Kimmel said. “He could’ve just said nothing, same way he’s been doing with the Trump-Epstein files all along.”
‘The View’ Hosts Called Out Donald Trump, Reminding Him Of ‘Karma’

Kimmel’s criticism followed a similar backlash from the panel on “The View.” Sunny Hostin argued that celebrating someone’s death should carry consequences, noting that conservatives have demanded accountability in the same situations.
She described Trump’s comments as inappropriate, especially given the weight of his office. Guest co-host Abby Huntsman stressed that he should have either remained silent or simply sympathized with the grieving family.
Ana Navarro chimed in, calling Trump “a mean person with a dark heart, verbal diarrhea, and no impulse control,” according to Entertainment Weekly.
She went on to warn that “karma never forgets,” adding that those who don’t condemn such statements about the deceased should also maintain the same stance if others say the same thing when Trump’s own time inevitably comes.
How Jimmy Kimmel Used The Oscars Stage To Mock Donald And Melania Trump

As responses to Trump’s remarks about Mueller continued to pour in, Kimmel had already aimed at the billionaire just days earlier, this time from the Oscars stage.
Although he didn’t host the 98th Academy Awards, Kimmel appeared as a presenter for Best Documentary Feature and Best Documentary Short, using his moment to throw jabs at the commander-in-chief.
According to The Blast, during Kimmel’s presentation, he praised filmmakers who risk their safety to tell powerful stories in places where free speech is limited. He then drew a comparison between those impactful films and Melania Trump’s documentary, calling it a project that shows her “walking around the White House trying on shoes.”
The late-night host then extended his jab to her husband, saying he would be upset that she was not nominated in that category.
Jimmy Kimmel Called Donald Trump The ‘Stupidest President’

Kimmel also dropped a weighty description of Trump after he claimed rising oil prices were beneficial since the U.S. is the world’s largest producer.
As The Blast reported, Kimmel fired back, arguing that Trump was wrong and the only ones profiting are he and his allies, while regular Americans are left paying more.
The 58-year-old TV personality host also mocked Trump’s focus on preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, bluntly declaring: “He really is the stupidest president of all time.”
Donald Trump’s ‘SNL’ Skit Repost Sparked Criticism Online

While continuing to draw reactions from Kimmel, Trump has also stirred conversation online after sharing a clip from “Saturday Night Live UK,” depicting British Prime Minister Keir Starmer afraid of him.
As The Blast reported, the footage began with aides informing the prime minister that the U.S. president is on the line. Encouraged to stay calm and “be himself,” Starmer answers, only to abruptly hang up after hearing a Trump-like voice say hello.
Trump reposted the clip on Truth Social without any caption, but many online users were far from entertained, with some dismissing the move as “pathetic.”
