The body camera footage began with officers’ arrival at the then-couple’s home, capturing Taylor and Dakota in a screaming match that could be heard outside their front door. When cops got inside, they immediately separated the pair.

Taylor appeared visibly intoxicated and unable to regain her composure in the video obtained by TMZ. She broke down in tears after trying and failing to pour herself a glass of water, collapsing over the sink as she cried uncontrollably. At the same time, Dakota was speaking to an officer.

“She’s not doing okay,” he told the officer, implying the February 2023 incident wasn’t the first time Taylor had gotten violent during their relationship. “I can’t even tell you the stuff that’s happened to me,” Dakota continued, showing the officers his injuries, before Taylor reappeared to kick him out.

The Reality Star’s Ex Offered To Be Arrested In Her Place

After officers identified Taylor as the primary aggressor in the incident, she was taken into custody. Moments after her arrest, a worried Dakota could be heard asking if he could switch places with Taylor because he didn’t want her locked up.

The officers refused, imploring Dakota to understand that he wasn’t at fault and to see the arrest as Taylor’s wake-up call to get her act right. “I truly just want her to get help,” Dakota added, clearly concerned for Taylor’s well-being.

In the video, one of Taylor’s three children was seen watching from inside the house as she got arrested. Before officers placed Taylor in their vehicle, her parents arrived to care for their grandkids in her absence. Taylor eventually pleaded guilty to aggravated assault.

The outlet revealed that Dakota had shared more details about the altercation in a phone call with cops, accusing Taylor of throwing a metal barstool at him. He explained that he deflected the object, only for it to hit Taylor’s daughter from a previous relationship.

In a different call, the authorities queried Dakota about Taylor’s allegations of urinating on herself. He denied all allegations of wrongdoing, explaining that she peed herself due to intoxication rather than his actions on their drive home.

According to Dakota, Taylor repeatedly asked him to stop the car so she could pee and could not wait for him to reach a gas stop. He noted that he allowed her to ease herself by the side of the road and accused her of throwing water at him in the truck.

‘The Bachelorette’ Star Slammed The Resurfaced Domestic Violence Video

Before the body cam footage of the 2023 incident made waves, Taylor sparked criticism for a now-viral video of her attacking Dakota. The Blast reported that the resurfaced video led to the cancellation of the latest season of “The Bachelorette.”

Taylor was set to be the show’s latest bachelorette, but the domestic violence scandal ruined her debut. She reacted to the drama underneath a fan’s TikTok post, claiming she was more upset about the footage’s impact on her children.

According to Taylor, her daughter had to relive the drama after the extensive work and apologies she gave her child following the incident. She was also upset because her son’s birthday was ruined when the clip resurfaced on his big day.

Taylor Frankie Paul Reportedly Had A Meltdown On Set

Although many recently became aware of Taylor’s domestic violence case due to the resurfaced video, a contestant from “The Bachelorette” had known about the incident. The Blast shared that sources claimed Casey Hux brought up the drama during a one-on-one date with Taylor.

Hux reportedly did so because he wanted to know if Taylor had learned from her arrest and how she had grown from her past self. However, his query allegedly made Taylor upset, with one source claiming she stormed off set.

The recent claims drew attention to one of Taylor’s Instagram posts, which she dropped on March 12. The video captured her reportedly flipping off the camera as Lily Allen’s “F-ck You” played in the background. “Taylor, did he get to you? Me: No, he wishes,” the overlay text read.
