Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has become one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood thanks to being one of the most likable people in show business. Even he, though, can’t get along with everyone he works with. It seems that his feud with "Fast & Furious" producer and lead man Vin Diesel is not only very real, but alive and well. This probably means that we are not going to see The Rock back in a Fast and Furious movie soon! Whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing is not something we’re sure of yet!

The beef between The Rock & Vin Diesel is actually years old at this point after the relationship took a wrong turn right around 2016. At the time The Rock actually took to Instagram and had this to say about his co-stars,

Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't," he continued to say, "The ones that don't are too chicken s--- to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses."

As time went on it became clear that in Johnson’s point of view Vin Deisel was one of the candy asses!

Now the two actors are at it again. It all started with an interview that Vin Diesel gave to Men’s Health for their most recent issue. Deisel detailed the challenges that he faced when working on the Fast and Furious franchise. If you didn’t know Deisel wears many hats on that set. Doubling down as a producer of the franchise. While at the same time playing the famous role of Dom Torretto. He had some words about how he had treated The Rock on set saying,

My approach at the time was a lot of tough love to assist in getting that performance where it needed to be."

Of course, after those remarks came out The Rock was asked about them while on tour promoting his new Jungle Cruise movie. He told The Hollywood Reporter that he had “laughed hard” when he read the remarks. Hinting at the fact that Vin Diesel’s idea of how things went down isn’t exactly accurate.

"I think everyone had a laugh at that. And I'll leave it at that,”

Tensions between the two are not getting much better. That could compromise The Rock’s presence in any future films of the franchise.

Although he doesn’t necessarily agree with Vin Diesel’s version of how things played out, The Rock mentioned that he wished the franchise well. In doing so though, he did leave his future in the saga up in the air. Hinting that he may not return. Johnson said,

“I've wished them well. I wish them well on [F9]. And I wish them the best of luck on Fast 10 and Fast 11 and the rest of the Fast & Furious movies they do that will be without me."

Even though The Rock is checking himself out of the next movies there’s a Hobbs & Shaw II movie in the works. We’re not sure whether he’ll be in that one or not!
