Selena Gomez Hilariously Trolls Her Younger Self, 'You're Not Cool!'

Selena Gomez is just like any other self-deprecating human.

The “Look At Her Now” singer must have been scrolling through the archives of the Internet, because she shared a hilarious throwback video of herself.

On Friday, July 16, SelGo took to TikTok and recreated her viral moment from 2007 while at a TeenVogue party.

2007 marked the year Selena landed her role as Alex Russo on Disney Channel’s “Wizards of Waverly Place.”

It was a big year for Selena, just sayin’.

In the original video, a 15-year-old Selena is discussing her hairstyle and why she decided to add stripes of color to it.

During the interview she says, “I got some blue going on.”

The interviewer asks, “Where did that inspiration come from?”

“I don’t know? I like a little edge and pop in my hair so, I wanted to add something different especially for the TeenVogue party,” the rising star said.

Fast forward nine years and Selena is revisiting that memorable interview.

With a multi-colored wig in hand, Selena sarcastically recites the interview clip with over exaggerated eye rolls and hand gestures.

She captioned the TiKTok, “To my younger self, you’re not cool bro.”

Sel’s fans popped off in the comments about her caption.

One fan replied, “You might not think you were cool but younger me wanted to be you so bad.”

Another wrote, “No you were everything,” while this person wrote, “she was most definitely cool selena.”

Others actually thought the audio was from Jojo Siwa, which if you listen to it on repeat a few times it does kind of sound like her.

This isn’t the first time Selena has trolled her younger self in the funniest way possible.

In May, she posted a throwback clip of her singing to Britney Spearswhile in front of a green screen that projected an intergalactic background.

Sel captioned the video, “the hustle was real.”

The song Selena performed was “Don’t Go Knockin’ On My Door,” and actually received praise from Britney.

"This is the most adorable thing I've ever seen!!!!!,” wrote the pop princess.

In 2018, Britney actually shared a video of herself working out to Sel’s song, “Bad Liar,” and last year she used a lyric from “Kill Em With Kindness” in an Instagram caption.

The two are clearly fangirls of one another!
