Tyler, The Creator is apologizing for some very harsh, disgusting and borderline predatory tweets he tagged Selena Gomez in.

Tyler latest album, “Call Me If You Get Lost,” is coming out at midnight Friday, and he claims to have apologized to Selena in one of his songs.

Here’s some background on the "beef."

In 2010 and 2011, the rapper tweeted out a slew of crude, derogatory and highly inappropriate tweets pertaining to things he wanted to do with the singer.

One tweet read, “Selena Gomez I am going to f*** the s*** out of you.”

Another tweet said, “Selena Gomez is now 18. So now she can legally take my d.”

The other tweets were extremely graphic in nature and included expletives that should never be said about a teenager.

“We don’t really get along. She don’t like me,” he said.

In 2019, he was suspended from the platform after these old tweets resurfaced. Thanks to Selenators, Selena’s fanbase, for digging up his dirty past.

While Selenators were highly disturbed and upset by the tweets, Tyler’s fanbase came to his rescue claiming that his provocateur nature is part of his brand.

His fanbase also thought that it wasn’t fair to lock Tyler out of his Twitter over tweets that were nearly a decade old.

Some Tyler fans highlighted the fact that in the years since the tweets Tyler’s lyrics and tweets have seemed to indicate the fact that the rapper is gay, although Tyler has never confirmed this himself.

Tyler publicized the fact he was suspended from Twitter on his Instagram story.

He simply wrote on a screenshot of his Twitter account being locked with “I was out of my mind.”

This didn’t appear to be much of an apology or admittance to wrongdoing, so Selena fans were still not pleased.

Many people reacted to this 'apology' on Twitter, many were unamused by his claims.

One fan wrote, “This isn’t an apology.”

Another furious Selenator tweeted, “nah this isn't an apology at all... He just want attention.”
