Welp, the UFC drama for Addison Rae isn’t over yet.
While big fight night between Connor McGregor and Dustin Poirier came to a close on Saturday after the Irish fighter’s leg snapped in half, it seems there are some remnants from the evening still circulating about Addison.
As some fans may or may not know, Addison came under intense fire after she was seen representing the UFC as a red carpet reporter on Saturday and made the joke, “I studied broadcast journalism for 3 months to prepare for this moment.”

The backlash was immediate and fierce with many people taking issue with the fact that the TikTok star has been able to work with the UFC in that role and is taking jobs from people who have worked years to achieve a similar role.
One furious Twitter user wrote, “So you’re taking a job from someone who [dedicates] their time and money to get such a job, whereas you get it because of fame.”
Not long after the Internet collectively flipped out, Addison joked that she had gotten fired from the UFC. This tweet came just 18 hours after her initial red carpet tweet.

While the dust has settled on THAT drama, it seems some influencers who attended the event with Addison are brewing some fresh, NEW tea to spill.
The NELK boys, who are known for their prank videos, vlogs, and their brand Full Send, recently published a video to their YouTube channel titled, “Donald Trump Is Smashing Addison Rae.”
In the video, fans see Dana White introduce Trump to the NELK boys.
The guys shake hands and collectively fanboy over the former POTUS.
Then the video cuts to a shot of Addison tapping Trump on the shoulder to say, ‘Hi.’
“I have to say ‘Hi. Hello.’ So nice to meet you,” she said.
This isn’t the first time Addison has been linked to the Republican party.
In 2020, a TikTok went viral that claimed the 20-year-old had registered to vote as a member of the Republican party in 2014, 2016 and 2018.
Addison debunked this with her own response in the comments of the video explaining, “This isn’t real hahahaha. First I’m from Louisiana, second I’m not even registered to vote and never have been I’m actually doing it for the first time with someone important and I’m excited to do so. This is fake.”
That same year, many Twitter users thought they spotted a “Trump 2020” flag in Addison’s room; however, the influencer once again debunked these rumors.
Turns out the “flag” was an Old Navy fourth of July themed pool towel from 2010.

Despite Addison’s attempts to debunk her political party status, her chumming it up with Trump did not sit well with fans.
One person responded to the video, “steals from black creators and coddles white supremacists? are we really surprised?”
Another person tweeted, “no Addison, you don’t have to say hi.”
While many said Addison is trying to get herself canceled, others were asking why she couldn’t say ‘Hi’ to a former president.
