Ed Sheeran is speaking out about the controversy surrounding the possible leak of his new song with Korean pop stars 'BTS' -- and the singer broke it all down for the biggest breakfast radio show in the Middle East.

The 'Shape Of You' singer sat down for an exclusive interview with 'The Kris Fade Show' and broke down the details surrounding a major incident regarding him and the band. Apparently, he accidentally revealed the song title of an upcoming hit record that he was involved in writing.

While on Instagram, Sheeran was asked about his favorite BTS song, and his reply seemed to spoil the upcoming collaboration. "I’d say my favorite BTS song is their new song, ‘Permission to Dance," he said. Of course, at the time, no one knew the new song's name...but now they did. Interestingly, it wasn't the first time Sheeran leaked a bit of information from the collab. On June 25, Sheeran revealed he worked with 'BTS' while promoting his new single, "Bad Habits."

“BTS. I’ve actually worked with BTS on their last record, and I’ve just written a song for their new record. And they’re like super, super cool guys as well,” he said at the time.

Now, a clip from an upcoming interview with 'The Kris Fade Show' appeared on the Instagram feed of FAME by Sheeraz, and within hours the story went viral. In the video, Sheeran discusses the incident after Kris mentioned they had heard of "what happened with BTS," saying, "The name was already out there, I think someone else spoiled it for them, and somehow I just put it on a bigger stage." He added, "If anything, I think it's good publicity."

The good news, he says the "song is really decent, and people are talking about it."

BTS is set to release their second English-language single, Butter, on July 9. The CD will include an additional single, which is rumored to be 'Permission To Dance.'

Jokingly, the radio show host -- a household name in Dubai -- revealed to the famous singer that they had learned how to say "I'm Sorry" in Korean. So, they offered to teach it to Sheeran. He didn't take the bait, but it is one of the funniest things you've ever heard.
