Amber Heard secretly welcomed a newborn baby girl, Oonagh Paige, with the help of a surrogate.
Johnny Depp's ex-wife just confirmed the shocking news on Instagram, where she shared a picture of herself and the little bundle of joy -- who she named after her late mother -- Paige. The big news comes just months after the 'Aquaman' actress finished up her nasty battle with her ex-husband, where she claimed he was abusive during their marriage.
“I’m so excited to share this news with you. Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms,” Amber wrote. She continued, “I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way. I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib.”

Interestingly, the actress says the baby is already several months old but decided she would go public with the birth after realizing being a celebrity would make it hard to keep this a secret. “A part of me wants to uphold that my private life is none of anyone’s business. I also get that the nature of my job compels me to take control of this. My daughter was born on April 8, 2021. Her name is Oonagh Paige Heard. She’s the beginning of the rest of my life," she said.
Amber Heard is currently in a relationship with cinematographer Bianca Butti, whom she has been dating since January of 2020, but made the decision to have the baby on her own -- making her the sole legal parent of the young child. As you know, Heard's baby comes after she lost her own mother in May of 2020, something that reportedly left her "heartbroken and devastated beyond belief."
Amber Heard Is A Mom! Following Nasty Battle With Johnny Depp...
"Oonagh is absolutely gorgeous, and Amber is besotted. She always knew that she wanted to be a mom, and this is her greatest wish come true. She’s so grateful to the wonderful woman who helped bring Oonagh into her life," a source told PageSix.
Adding, "The most important thing for Amber is that she’s open about Oonagh’s birth. There are so many women who feel they can’t talk about their fertility and are worried and embarrassed; Amber wants them to feel supported and realize that there are a multitude of ways to have a baby even if you have fertility issues.”
As for the ongoing issues with Johnny Depp, the case in England has come to a close, but the case in the United States is still ongoing. The 'Pirates of The Caribbean' star sued his wife claiming she defamed him by calling him an abusive husband in an op-ed article.
Congratulations.
