Ashley Tisdale might be a new mom after welcoming her first child, a baby girl, in March.
Tisdale gave birth to her daughter Jupiter Iris on March 23 and has been in love ever since.
It seems the lyrics, “We’re All In This Together,” really struck a chord with one of her “High School Musical” co-stars, because they have been on baby duty since Jupiter landed on this earth!
Any guesses on which ‘HSM’ co-star we’re talking about… here’s a hint!
It's... VANESSSAAA!
Of course, Tisdale’s bestie, Vanessa Hudgens was among the first, if not only, ‘HSM’ co-star to meet baby ‘JuJu!’
The actress opened up to Access Hollywoodrecently about motherhood, breastfeeding and baby JuJu’s reaction to meeting Vanessa.
Spoiler alert… IT WAS ADORABLE!
During a June 25 interview with the entertainment outlet, Tisdale revealed Vanessa was the only person to know her daughter’s name before arrival.
Speaking of the sweet meeting, Tisdale revealed that JuJu was completely enamored with Vanessa and basically reached out to her to be held.
"It was awesome. It was really cool," Tisdale said of her bestie meeting her baby back in May. "It's just like such a surreal moment."
Vanessa Meets Jupiter!
The new mom said, "She just fell in love with Vanessa. I think she just knew how important she was to me because she reached out her arms to her."
Back in May, Tisdale posted some sweet candid moments of Vanessa, who is called ‘Aunt Nessa,’ meeting Jupiter for the first time to her Instagram story.
In one shot we see a smiling Jupiter staring up at Aunt Nessa with Tisdale captioning the shot, “Literally Jupiter opened her arms like hold me the minute she met Ness. It warmed my heart.”
Yeah, mine too!
Aunt Nessa & JuJu!
Vanessa was reportedly “just teary-eyed and she just couldn't believe ... she just kept on staring at her. It was so cute," Tisdale said.
And Aunt Nessa is completely over the moon about the newest addition to the squad! She shared a similar photo to her Instagram and captioned it “I melt over this angel.”
Tisdale also discussed the hardships of breastfeeding and her journey with moving her daughter to formula.
It was quite difficult for the new mom to get her baby to latch which then began to create a negative experience at feeding time for Jupiter, which is something Tisdale was terrified of.
She told her husband, “I feel we are striving, not thriving.” So, in order to thrive, Tisdale made the decision to move her daughter to formula.
“It’s funny how we have the whole stigma around breastfeeding and that is like the only way, and that’s not true. Unfortunately, it just sometimes doesn’t work for people. So, it’s important to know you do have options and those options are still great,” the brand ambassador for Enfamil said.
Enfamil is a baby formula inspired by breast milk. Their website says the formula gives every baby the DHA amount found in average breast milk.
