Jonah Hill continues to maintain the results of his weight loss transformation, looking even slimmer on the set of his new movie.

The paparazzi spotted the "21 Jump Street" star in Los Angeles in between takes for the upcoming movie, "Cut Off." The sighting followed Hill's shocking appearance earlier this week, when he surprised fans with his trimmed physique.

Jonah Hill has been vocal about his weight loss and body image issues, confessing that the media's heavy scrutiny had made him hate his appearance. He also revealed that he got leaner for his health rather than chasing beauty standards.

Jonah Hill Looks Even Leaner In Baggy Combo

The recent pictures from the movie's set captured Hill looking leaner in a baggy outfit. He donned an oversized denim button-down shirt with dark-colored pants rolled up to his ankles. Hill appeared to be on a break as he carried a beverage cup.

Moments later, Hill was spotted in the same outfit; however, he was in between getting his hair and makeup done to transform into his character for the movie. He had on a blonde wig styled with bangs and traded his dark sunglasses for thin-framed, round-shaped glasses.

The pictures shared by The Daily Mail were taken in Los Angeles, where Hill was spotted earlier this week looking slimmer than ever. He is reportedly credited as a star, director, producer, and co-writer for the "Cut Off" set to premiere on July 17, 2026.

What The Actor Has Said About His Weight Loss Journey

Hill's weight loss transformation began over a decade ago when he reportedly lost 40 pounds in 2011. He credited a nutritionist for helping him adjust his diet and "physically running instead of emotionally running."

The actor delved deeper into the "emotionally running" comment in his 2022 documentary, "Stutz," confessing that the public's scrutiny affected his self-confidence. Hill explained that he was always defensive and angry whenever people criticized his weight.

He didn't realize that he needed to change for his physical and mental well-being because weight loss was painted as something negative.

"When I was a kid, exercise and diet was framed to me as like, 'There's something wrong with how you look,'" Hill said, adding that he wished someone had presented it as something positive.

The 'Mid90s' Director Sparked Concerns About His Dramatic Transformation

Although Hill stressed that he lost weight for his overall well-being, The Blast reported in 2023 that many believed his drastic transformation stemmed from other reasons. He sparked concerns about his mental state after shedding more pounds amid abuse allegations.

An insider claimed that Hill's inner circle feared his ex-girlfriend, Sarah Brady, had triggered his anxiety with her scathing claims. A mental health specialist echoed similar sentiments, declaring the speculations were "without a doubt impacting his weight."

The drama began when Brady implied Hill had been emotionally abusive with his misogynistic and narcissistic behavior. She leaked their alleged chats, painting the entertainer as controlling because he set specific rules if she wished to be his girlfriend.

The alleged chats between Hill and Brady captured what the actor described as his "boundaries" in a romantic relationship. He stressed that he was not the right person for the surfing instructor if she did not resonate with his wishes.

Hill requested that Brady stop surfing with other men and refrain from having inappropriate relationships with them. He explained that he was not okay with her posting thirst traps or suggestive pictures of herself on social media.

Additionally, Hill drew the line on Brady's friendship with women from her "wild past." When she leaked their chats, Brady claimed she did so to stop other women from falling for a "misogynist narcissist" like Hill.

Although Brady might have expected everyone to take her side, journalist Meghan McCain did not. The Blast covered her response to the allegations in 2023, reporting that she called BS on the surfing instructor's narrative.

McCain stressed that there was nothing wrong with Hill setting boundaries in a relationship and noted Brady could have said no from the start. She also found the timing of the chat's revelation problematic, pointing out that Brady waited till Hill welcomed a child with Olivia Millar.

Brady had claimed she dropped the chats so Millar could be "informed and make an informed decision of how she wants to care for herself and her baby." McCain saw her words as proof of her "being manipulative" and hoping to destroy Hill's life.

A year after the emotional abuse drama, Channing Tatum made headlines for his desire to reunite with Hill for a third installment of the "21 Jump Street" movie. The Blast reported that he tried to promote "23 Jump Street," which never saw the light of day.

"There is a project that was written, and it's still the best script that I've ever read for a third movie," Tatum revealed. He claimed that the film never made it to production because there was "above the line stuff" impacting their progress.

Despite the hurdles, Tatum claimed that he and Hill would love to reunite and make a third movie. He hoped that by opening up about it, his words would generate enough buzz to persuade producers to create the film.
