Back in December, the world was stunned to hear that Floyd Mayweather would be taking on Logan Paul in an exhibition boxing match. This came one month after Logan's brother, Jake, knocked out former NBA star Nate Robinson, in the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr undercard. Logan vs Floyd would end up being postponed due to "COVID and other things." Thankfully, a few months later Floyd, revealed that the fight would finally go down on June 6, with a few locations for it narrowed down. The final choice ended up being Miami.

Logan Thought He Would Get Bribed To Throw The Fight Away

Logan also came out and said that he thought that Floyd's team would contact him and ask him to throw in this fight in exchange for millions of dollars. This is due to the supposed belief of Floyd's team not wanting to take a possible loss.
"I was waiting for the guy in the black suit to approach me and be like 'Yo, we'll pay you $50 million dollars to throw this fight. We can't afford Floyd losing' ... but it never happened."
Floyd Got Into It With Jake Paul Last Month

At the press conference for this fight at Hard Rock Stadium last month, Logan's brother, Jake, made a lot of headlines as well. Floyd ran into Jake and from there, the two yelled at each other about a possible fight between them. Floyd quicly agreed to this and then, Jake randomly took Floyd's hat and yelled "gotcha hat." A melee soon ensued as both sides were being held back. Jake ended up saying that one of Floyd's bodyguards was able to hit him in the head.
Floyd Is Fighting For The First Time In Almost Three Years

For Floyd, it's definitely been a while since he stepped in the ring. The last time he did so was back on December 31, 2018, in Saitama, Japan. He faced off against Tenshin Nasukawa. This didn't end up being much of a fight, as the champ was able to score the TKO victory in the first round. Mayweather was then rumored to fight UFC's Khabib Nurmagomedov, but unfortunately, that didn't happen. Now, Money Mayweather will finally be back in the ring, vs a very entertaining opponent in Logan.
