May 25 marked the 1-year anniversary of George Floyd being killed by Derek Chauvin of the Minneapolis Police Department. Chauvin had his knee on Floyd's neck for nearly 10 minutes. Following the press conference, Baby and Floyd's family spoke with TMZ. At that moment, Baby expressed how the George Floyd Police Act Bill needs to be passed, something that was discussed today at the White House as well. Last November, Baby came through for the Floyd family in a major way then, as well. He paid for Floyd's daughter, Gianna's birthday party in Atlanta. It was a pink-themed party as Gianna and her friends were also able to get their nails done. Baby earned a lot of respect on social media as he's been speaking on injustices over the past year and has been building a solid relationship with Floyd's family. Hopefully, the George Floyd Police Act Bill will get passed soon as well.
