Stassi Schroeder has dropped the first episode of her new paid podcast "The Good The Bad The Baby,"and there is already a tone-deaf vibe. The new mom is blaming her firing from "Vanderpump Rules"for ruining her gender reveal. The 32-year-old shared the morning she realized she might be pregnant, “I walk outside, and I’m like, ‘I’m two days late,” she said to partner Beau Clark who was outside “journaling or reading or something productive,” claims Schroeder. She immediately wanted to take a pregnancy test and ended up taking plenty.
Gender Reveals Were Silly To Stassi

While she admits that she and former VPR co-star Katie Maloney used to “DM each other pictures of over-the-top gender reveals and make fun of them,” she now wanted one of those over-the-top gender reveals. Unfortunately, just a few days before this joyous news, the firing scandal had taken place leaving, her, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni without their reality TV jobs. The firings put a pause on her happy vibe and big plans. Schroeder nervously shared the extravagant idea for her daughter Hartford Clark’s gender reveal on the exclusive Patreon hosted podcast.
It Was So To Be 'Next Level Basic'

“We were going to have a plane fly around Valley Village, saying either, ‘It’s a Girl,’ or, ‘It’s a Boy,’ she shared. Why so extra on the gender reveal? “So our friends could walk out of their houses and we could safely social distance and celebrate.” But, let’s be honest, an extra gender reveal like that would have made the already scandalized reality tv star look worse. They ultimately did not make a huge display of their daughter’s gender because they were in a funk. “We just weren’t in the mood to celebrate in such a big way.”
They Kept It Low Key Instead

The couple did have a gender reveal that Schroeder ended up loving just as much. “My sister baked this really beautiful cake that said, ‘The Clark Passenger,’ and that was actually one of the best days of my life,” shared the NY Times Bestselling author. The gender reveal was celebrated at their $1.7 million L.A. home. She describes the moment as being like Christmas morning. “We cut into the cake and saw pink, [Beau] always wanted a girl. I didn’t realize how much I wanted a girl until that moment.”
Stick With What You Know

Another interesting tidbit of information that came out of the episode was how Schroeder is choosing to educate herself and daughter on racism. In typical Stassi fashion, it has everything to do with social media. Schroder is relying on Conscious Kid, an app that provides reading material to teach kids about racism. “Through following the Conscious Kid, I realized that you have to be teaching these things to kids at a young age. In the work that I’ve been doing over the last six months… they became one of my favorite accounts to follow.”
Of Course, Shade Was Thrown

Schroeder wouldn’t be the Next Level Basic that she is without throwing shade at fellow former cast members Jax Taylor who also recently welcomed a child, a son named Cruz with wife Brittany Cartwright. Clark revealed that he came across a book about how men can stop hating the color pink when they become fathers to a baby girl. “Those books were made for people like Jax. He’s that type of guy,” jabbed Schroeder, with Clark almost immediately agreeing by saying he wanted to say the same thing. The dig is kind of shocking considering they all seemed to have made up since they don’t have a reality show to fight on anymore.
