Nicki Minaj has had her fans extremely excited all week long due to her finally returning to social media on Monday. She posted a caption that said "FRIDAY," which hinted at new music being on the way.
This would be her first solo single since February 2020's "Yikes." That record was viewed by many as Nicki taking shots at her ex-boyfriend and Philadelphia rapper, Meek Mill. In the middle of this week, she also shared lyrics from possibly an upcoming single.

This week, Nicki also posted several new photos to Instagram where she inserted song lyrics of what appeared to be from the upcoming single. Many believed that the title of it was "Fractions."

Nicki Officially Re-Releases 2009 'Beam Me Up Scotty' Mixtape
While many fans believed that Nicki would solely be releasing a single on May 14, she is giving even more material. This includes re-releasing her classic 2009 "Beam Me Up Scotty" mixtape which contains the new single, "Fractions," as well as additional tracks. This was announced in a late night Instagram Live session.
Unlike in 2009, Beam Me Up Scotty is officially on all streaming services now. This mixtape originally put Nicki on the map that year and she oon became a star with Lil Wayne's Young Money Records and Birdman's Cash Money Records.

From that point, the only way was up for the New York rapper and is now one of the most popular artists over the last decade.
