According to a GoFundMe page by bridesmaid Kirsten McDowell, March 22 was meant to be one of the happiest nights of Rinaldi's life.
The GoFundMe page shared that Rinaldi was violently assaulted just four weeks before her wedding, leaving her with serious injuries, including a broken nose, three broken teeth, and eight stitches in her face.
The page describes how she had been enjoying what she thought was the best trip of her life just 24 hours before the attack, which transformed her joyful experience into the "most terrifying and traumatizing night" she has ever faced.
Due to the assault, she is now burdened with significant medical expenses as she attempts to heal both physically and emotionally during this challenging time.
The GoFundMe urged the community to help her, emphasizing that no one should endure such trauma or the accompanying financial strain. The campaign has raised nearly $16,000 as of March 27.

Rinaldi documented her memorable time with her girls on her Instagram with a carousel of pictures to remind her of their fun. The first slide featured the soon-to-be bride at a restaurant surrounded by her girlfriends, who wore their best smiles.
Rinaldi looked ethereal in a white off-shoulder outfit and blonde hair with dark roots. Up next, the girls took the train on a boat, still wearing gorgeous smiles and bright outfits. The bride-to-be looked instantly recognizable in her white halter-neck dress with a cut-out design in the middle of her cleavage.
The party was decked in an all-black ensemble for their night out on the third slide. The bride-to-be, however, stood out by pairing her black mini skirt with a white blouse and matching white boots.
The fourth slide showed the bride and her friends at a sleepover party. The clique opted for peach-colored pajamas, leaving Rinaldi in the middle with white pajamas finished with feathers at the sleeves and a nicely done manicure.
The pair went pole dancing on the fifth slide, and for the last slide, they showed up in true Texas style, each with their dresses, shorts, cowboy hats, and boots combo. Rinaldi captioned the pictures:
"Girls just wanna have fun. Had the most fun surrounded by my favorite chicks. NEXT STOP: WEDDING."
A Groom Unleashed Terror At His Wedding Reception By Committing Murder

In 2023, The Blast shared that a groom, Chaturong Suksuk, committed a mass shooting at his wedding reception in Thailand. He fatally shot his bride, Kanchana Pachunthuek, her mother, and her younger sister.
A stray bullet killed a 50-year-old guest, Thong Nonkhunthod, and another guest, 28-year-old Bamrung Chatherat, suffered serious injuries from the shooting.
At the end of his rampage, the 29-year-old also proceeded to take his own life. According to reports from the incident, Suksuk had initially left his wedding reception intoxicated but returned with a pistol and bad intentions.
More investigations noted that the groom had legally procured the gun in 2022. The couple had also cohabitated for three years. Local authorities claimed a reported altercation on their wedding day may be the groom's motive.
Suksuk was identified to be a former paramilitary ranger and a successful para-athlete swimmer who was shortlisted for the World Abilitysport Games 2023.
Wishing Canada Rinaldi a quick recovery as she gears up for her new day.
