Tristan Tate Slams James Kennedy For Allegedly Lying Over Photo Scandal: 'He Knew Exactly Who I Was'

Tristan Tate, the brother of controversial social media "influencer" Andrew Tate, recently called out Bravo's James Kennedy after the reality star apologized for posting a picture with them on his Instagram account.

Over the weekend, James Kennedy received a lot of backlash from fans throughout the Bravosphere. They condemned him for posting a picture of himself hanging out with Andrew and Tristan Tate, two social media users who are facing charges of sexual assault and human trafficking in Romania and the United Kingdom.

Although he apologized, many viewers weren't moved by his words. Now, in a new post, Tristan has called him out for backpedaling and even shared surprising allegations about their interaction in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Kennedy, who is well known among reality TV fans for his unfiltered personality on Bravo's "Vanderpump Rules," recently upset many of his supporters in early March 2025 after posting a picture of himself with the Tate brothers.

For those who may be unfamiliar with the siblings, they have gained a following by sharing controversial opinions about social issues and topics, such as masculinity and feminism, online.

The two brothers have been facing legal woes since 2022 after they were arrested and charged with several heinous sex crimes, including sexual intercourse with a minor.

Kennedy's photo opportunity with them occurred during the Power Slap 12 event, which took place at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas's Cobalt Ballroom on Friday, March 7.

The villainous reality star in the photo could be seen cracking a slight smile while the two brothers stood in the background, staring into the camera.

Shortly after Kennedy's photo with the Tates was shared online, the "VPR" star faced a wave of backlash, which led him to delete the post before issuing an apology.

"I regret posting a photo with the Tate brothers at an event last night," the reality star shared in his Instagram Stories. "I was unfamiliar with their content and the allegations against them. I only knew them as podcasters [who] had posted a viral clip about 'Vanderpump.'"

He continued, "I have since educated myself and condemn their beliefs. I am sorry to all that I offended."

Tristan, 36, noticed the commotion surrounding his moment with Kennedy and replied to his apology on March 9.

In his post, the social media user called the Bravo employee out for succumbing to the pressure and negative pushback from his "woke" followers. He also shared surprising allegations about their interaction, which only ruffled more feathers in the Bravo community.

"[He] begged and kissed my -ss for 30 minutes straight and called me a hero," Tristan wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

The social media user continued, "He knew EXACTLY who I was and what content I made."

"He's just a p-ssy who can't handle DMs from woke r—ds. F-ck this guy," he finished.

After "Vanderpump Rules" watchers learned of Tristan's allegation about his interaction with Kennedy, many chimed in to share that they believed his claims.

"That is a first for me," one user wrote on Reddit. "The first time believing something from a Tate brother."

A second user added, "This sounds exactly like something James would do and say. The Tate brothers are gigantic pieces of sh-t, and so is James. So, I have absolutely no doubt he admires them."

"Wow, a woman abuser called a human trafficker a hero," a third person commented. "I'm soooo shocked."

The negative press surrounding Kennedy comes months after the television personality was arrested and booked in a California jail on suspicion of domestic violence charges in December 2024.

According to police records, Kennedy was involved in an altercation with his girlfriend, Ally Lewber, that turned sour after witnesses claimed they saw him behaving aggressively.

The 33-year-old DJ broke his silence about the altercation and his arrest days later and let his followers know that he would be spending the coming months focusing on his "sobriety" and "personal growth."

"Navigating challenging moments is not easy, but I am determined to learn, grow, and move forward with the incredible support system around me," he finished.
