American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish has admitted to enjoying quality love-making in 2024.
The "Ocean Eyes" crooner compared the year to past years and confessed that sex is one aspect that improved a lot this year.
Eilish has previously said she would stop talking about her personal life during interviews, but she didn't keep to her words with her latest comments about her sex life.
Billie Eilish Had 'A Lot Of Good Sex' This Year
For the last eight years, Eilish has given an annual interview to Vanity Fair, during which she reflects on her past year by answering questions and reviewing her previous answers.
On October 18, 2024, she sat down for the eighth edition of the interview and looked back on the old versions of herself. In this year's edition, which the magazine posted on YouTube on Wednesday, the singer gave thumbs-ups or thumbs-downs to indicate whether she achieved her goals for the year.
When reviewing her 22-year-old self's wish to have good sex during last year's edition, Eilish, who just turned 23, gave a thumbs up, indicating that she had achieved that goal.
Later in the video, she explained, "I've done nothing but make friends all year and gotten so close with people that I wasn't with before and became friends with people I used to be friends with again."
Eilish also said, per E! News, "It's just been a year filled with friendship which, honestly, even though I was saying a lot of things that I want to do, that was the real...that was the thing that I wanted to do."
She continued, "I really did it, and it was awesome. And, yes, I've had a lot of good sex, so...you're welcome, Billie."
Billie Eilish Vows Not To Talk About Her Sexuality Again
Eilish's latest comments are coming just two months after she vowed not to disclose intimate details about her life.
During an October interview with Vogue to promote her album, "Hit Me Hard and Soft," the "Everything I Wanted" singer expressed regret that she had been candid about her personal life.
Eilish said, "I wish no one knew anything about my sexuality or anything about my dating life. Ever, ever, ever. And I hope that they never will again."
She also vowed not to discuss her sexuality or who she was dating ever again. Billie Eilish concluded, "I guess I also underestimate that things I say will be blown up into the biggest news of the whole world. That's so unnatural. We are all babies. We are all little kids growing up and learning ourselves."
Billie Eilish Talks About Sex And Masturbation
The 23-year-old's regret about revealing details of her sexual life came several months after she opened up about her sexuality during an April interview with Rolling Stone.
During the interview, she revealed that writing the song "Lunch" played a major role in her becoming who she is today. Eilish explained, "I wrote some of it before even doing anything with a girl and then wrote the rest after." She added, "I've been in love with girls for my whole life, but I just didn't understand – until, last year, I realised I wanted my face in a v-gina."
Billie Eilish, who shared that she enjoyed talking about sex, also spoke about m-sturbation, revealing that she enjoyed pleasuring herself and that it helped her hugely. She added, "People should be jerking it, man. I can't stress it enough, as somebody with extreme body issues and dysmorphia that I've had my entire life."
Eilish Didn't Want People To Know About Her Sexuality
Despite her love for discussing sex-related topics, it was never Billie Eilish's plan to discuss her sexuality. However, that changed when she was outed during her November 2023 cover story interview with Variety, where she revealed, "I love them [girls] so much. I love them as people. I'm attracted to them as people. I'm attracted to them for real."
In December 2023, Variety asked Eilish if she meant to come out during her cover story interview, and she replied, "No I didn't, but I kinda thought, wasn't it obvious? I didn't realize people didn't know."
She also said she wasn't a believer in coming out, adding, "I'm just like, why can't we just exist? I've been doing this for a long time and I just didn't talk about it. I saw the article, and I was like, 'Oh, I guess I came out today.' Ok, cool. It's exciting to me because people didn't know, so it's cool that they know. Ooh, I'm nervous talking about it. But no, I am for the girls."
While speaking to Rolling Stone in April, Eilish, who slammed Variety for outing her, said she didn't mean to talk about her sexuality. She said, "I was never planning on talking about my sexuality ever in a million years. It's really frustrating to me that it came up."
Eilish's Successful 2024
In addition to having lots of good sex, Billie Eilish has enjoyed a successful year. In May, she released her much-anticipated third studio album, "Hit Me Hard and Soft," which quickly climbed to the top of the Spotify charts.
The award-winning singer also had over 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify for the first time.
Eilish and her brother, Finneas, who collaborates with her, won the Academy Awards for Best Original Song for their contribution to the "Barbie" soundtrack, "What Was I Made For."
The Oscars win made the siblings the youngest people ever to win two Oscars — a truly remarkable achievement.
