Every Halloween, fans of Neil Patrick Harris and husband David Burtka wait to see what spooktacular scene they share on social media. Known for elaborate Halloween photos that include the couple's twins, Harper and Gideon, this year's scene didn't disappoint.

Each year, Harris and Burtka go all out with their Halloween costumes and wow viewers with the details, time, and energy they put into the holiday. This year was no different for the family!

Fans patiently wait to see what amazing scene the family of four cook up each Halloween.

In the past, they've dressed up as beloved fast-food mascots, horror film characters, stars of "Peter Pan," "Wizard Oz," and "Alice in Wonderland," just to name a few.

This year, the Halloween-loving family set the scene for another iconic holiday. Both Harris, 51, and Burtka, 49, shared photos of the fun on their Instagram pages. And just as in previous years, the couple's 14-year-old twins, Harper and Gideon, were included!

Becoming 'Iconic' For This Halloween!

Harris shared a photo of this year's Halloween scene on his Instagram page captioned, "Icons. Now recording in Scareophonic Sound. Happy Halloween from Elton, Elvis, Madonna, and Bowie!" His caption also directed fans who want to see the behind-the-scenes photos of the shoot to head over to Burtka's Instagram page.

Viewers were excited to see what the fun-loving family was doing for Halloween, as many of them commented that they couldn't wait to see this year's costumes.

"Brilliant once again! This is my favorite part of Halloween each year," one viewer shared. Another added, "I look forward to your family Halloween photos every year!!" One other fan said, "This is all I look forward to every Halloween. Nicely done, you’s!"

David Burtka Shared BTS Photos From The Halloween Shoot

While Harris shared an amazing photo of the four-some in costume, over on Burtka's Instagram page, behind-the-scenes photos tell more of the epic Halloween story.

Some of the photos in the carousel show how they transformed into the characters they were portraying. Harris dressed as David Bowie, Burtka as Elvis, Harper as Madonna, and Gideon as Elton John.

Viewers all seemed to love what the family put together this year and jumped into the comments to share their thoughts.

Every Halloween Brings A Different Theme From The Family Of Four

The family goes all out each and every Halloween and shares the fun on social media.

Last year, they dressed up as Aphrodite, Hermes, Hades, and Poseidon, and Harris captioned the photo, "Atop Mount Olympus, We Doth Decree: Happy Halloween, Mortals!"

In previous years, the family dressed up as characters from "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory," classic horror film characters, and many other interesting options that captivate audiences every year.

David Burtka's New Show Is A Family Affair

Not only does the family of four go all out for Halloween together every year, but they also perform together.

Burtka recently revealed that he's performing in a new cabaret, and Harris and the twins will be joining him.

"So I'm doing a cabaret at 54 Below. And my husband, Neil Patrick Harris, is directing. My kids are going to be making an appearance," he recently told PEOPLE. "I'm singing a duet with my daughter, and I'm doing sort of a scene with my son."

He explained that this is an "unconventional cabaret," one that he did 12 years ago, but now has "flipped the genre of cabaret on its head."

The show is "more of like an art piece, sort of a narrative as you will," he told PEOPLE. "I don't want to give out too much, but I'm singing a bunch of new songs and it's going to be really exciting."
