The 'Goodies' singer took to Instagram to share a message about the 'Ruff Ryders Anthem' rapper, reminding fans of the extreme talent he possessed. Interestingly, Ciara's followers pointed out that DMX had a crush on the singer -- and was nervous while meeting the star.

"I remember witnessing you perform and being deeply inspired. Your delivery in your music was rare! Your tone, your cadence, everything. I have no doubt that you were anointed with a gift to touch and inspire so many souls through music. May you rest in God's arms," Ciara captioned a picture of the two musicians.

Adding, "Rest in Paradise Legend ??"

Immediately, Ciara's followers pointed out, "I remember his interview on Whoo Kid’s radio show and X said he had a big crush on you - meeting you made him nervous ?❤️."

According to Union, while filming the 2003 film 'Cradle 2 The Grave' -- she claimed there was a dog biting incident with the staff of the production -- so she was sent to get DMX during the shoots.

But, instead of coming out, DMX would invite her in for a drink while he enjoyed his favorite 80's sitcom -- Golden Girls! At the time, Union said X would "laugh hysterically" at the show while enjoying a few beers. Best. Story. Ever.

As we reported, DMX passed away earlier this week, just days after suffering a massive heart attack and drug overdose.
