Back in January, popular Florida rapper, Kodak Black, was pardoned by Donald Trump in his last day in office. This was in the middle of a 46-month prison sentence that Kodak was serving for falsifying information on gun applications.He was originally arrested at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami in May 2019 and sentenced that November. Trump reportedly did the pardon due to the character that Kodak has shown while incarcerated such as with his charitable work inn his home state.

Many believe that Kodak only showed Trump love to get out of his 46-month prison sentence. Trump wasn't one of the most loved presidents and had some very questionable policies along with who he was as a person. Nonetheless, Kodak is still a fan of Trump as on Tuesday, he appeared on TMZ Liveand one of the topics was Trump. Kodak acknowleged Trump as a "real one" and also loved the fact that they are both the same zodiac sign. (Gemini)

Kodak wasn't done boasting about Trump in this interview as he wanted to show off a gift that was also given to him by the former president. This was a navy blue "Make America Great Again" hat that was personally signed by Trump. Kodak flashed a smile while showing it on camera as hosts Harvey Levin and Charles Latibeaudiere definitely looked surprised that he loved this gift so much. Either way, it doesn't look like Kodak will sway his love for Trump away anytime soon.

Kodak Expresses Desire To Work With Justin Bieber And Beyoncé

As far as music goes, Kodak explained in this interview how he wants to work with Justin Bieber and Beyoncé. He excitingly said that he has songs for them that they can get on. Kodak's last album was his "Bill Israel" project that was released last November while he was still incarcerated. Bill Israel contained 11 songs with appearances from Gucci Mane, Tory Lanez, and more. Since his release, Kodak has put out his "Last Day In" and "Every Balmain."

Lil Wayne Was Also Pardoned On Same Day As Kodak

There was a very long list of names to be pardoned as Lil Wayne was another incarcerated rapper to be on there. Wayne was set to be sentenced for his federal firearm case from December 2019 where a gun was found on a private jet that he was on at a Miami airport. March 5 was his scheduled sentencing but that all changed after the pardon by Trump in January. At the time, Wayne could've been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
