Halle Berry has just had her monthly child support owed to her ex, Gabriel Aubry, in support of their 13-year-old daughter, cut in HALF.

Sources close to the situation tell The Blast, the "X-Men" actress and Aubry recently negotiated a settlement in their ongoing child support case, after arguing over the amount.

As of March 1, 2021, Halle Berry will now pay her ex $8,000 a-month. As we reported, Halle was previously ordered to pay Gabriel $16,000 a month in child support.

In the ex-couple's new agreement, Halle will pay "retroactive" support Gabriel in the amount of $85,000 and agreed to continue to pay Nahla's private school tuition and health insurance.

In the new agreement, Halle will also pay Gabriel additional child support if her income exceeds 1.95 million in a given year, and she must also contribute $5,000 to Gabriel's attorney's fees and costs.

The ex-couple are both represented by high-powered attorneys in the deal. Gabriel is represented by Mark P. Gross of Brot Gross Fishbein, and Halle is represented by Marina Zakiyan of Beck of Elkins Kalt Weintraub Reuben Gartside.

Going forward, Halle and Gabriel agreed to exchange annual income information, which will include complete income and expense declarations, tax returns, and profit and loss statements.

The good news, they also have agreed to attempt to settle future disputes through a private judge, to keep this case out of courts.

As we reported, several weeks ago, Halle took to her Instagram to show her frustration over the issue of paying child support for over a decade.

The legendary actress posted a photo, saying, "Women don't owe you s--t". The social media post sparked a debate amongst her followers and Halle decided to open up on the topic.

"I feel if a woman or man is having to pay support that is way more than the reasonable needs to help SUPPORT the child, I think that is wrong!" she wrote.

Adding, "I understand some parents (man or woman) may need help, but I also feel in these modern times both men and women have the responsibility to financially take care of their children and work hard and make every effort to do so."

At the time, Halle argued that the current child support laws allow for people to "use" their children to obtain money -- and which they then use to live a lifestyle that the parent didn't "earn."

The 'Monster's Ball' actress continued to address the situation, saying, her current child support was "way above and beyond the child's reasonable needs," adding the laws are "outdated" and "no longer reflect the modern world".

In the end, she said, "I can say I'm living it every day and I can tell you it's hard, I do totally understand the feelings of those men who feel they are and have been taken advantage of by the system."

It now appears, it might have just been a good negotiating tactic, as the actress was involved in a back and forth to lower the child support.

Sounds like a win for everyone involved?!
