Halle Berry is blasting her baby daddy for the amount of money she is paying in child support, something she says he didn’t earn!
The Oscar-winning actress just went OFF on Instagram describing outdated laws she believes are responsible for awarding men and women a large amount of money in child support — something she says is not fair.
Obviously, the actress is coming from a place of experience compared the situation to her own court case where she was ordered to pay over $15,000 in child support.

“I’m not going to speak on alimony as I have never asked for it nor have I ever paid it. However, as for child support, I feel I can speak on it as I’ve been paying it for a decade now. I fee if a woman or man is having to pay child support that is way more than the reasonable needs to help SUPPORT the child, I think that is wrong! I understand some parents (man or woman) may need help, but I also feel that in these modern times both men and women have the responsibility to financially take care of their children and work hard and make every effort to do so,” she wrote on IG.
But, She Wasn’t Done…Scroll Down.
She continued, “The way many laws are set up people are allowed to USE children in order to be awarded money to live a lifestyle that not only they did not earn but that is way above and beyond the child’s reasonable needs, and that is “THE WRONG” and where I see the abuse. The laws are outdated and no longer reflect the modern world. This is just my opinion I clearly don’t own the truth. I can say I’m living it every day and I can tell you it’s hard. I do totally understand the feelings of those men who feel they are and have been taken advantage of by the system.”
So, why is she so upset? See Below…
Back in 2014, Halle Berry was ordered by a Los Angeles County Court to pay $16,000 in child support — every month — to her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.
The ex-couple shares a daughter, Nahla, who was six years old at the time. As for why she is so upset, according to reports, the order will remain in place until Nahla turns 19 or graduates from high school. At the time, the court also ordered Halle to cover $300,000 in Aubry’s legal bills after battling the situation in court.
The ex-model has yet to respond to the comments.
