On Tuesday evening, a typical Twitter altercation between Cardi B and Candace Owens’ ensued and escalated into Owens threatening to sue Cardi.

She alleged that the "WAP" singer posted a digitally altered tweet which insinuated that Owens' husband cheated on her with her (Owen) brother. 

Before it all went to hell, Cardi posted a video of Owen criticizing her and Megan Thee Stallion's "WAP" performance at the Grammys on "Fox News."

In the clip, Owens said that watching the show felt like watching corrosion and the end of an empire.

In response to Cardi's tweet, Owens called the mom-of-one a cancer cell to culture.

Not one to back from a public brawl, Cardi posted a tweet supposedly from Owen that disclosed that Owens's husband cheated on her with her brother.

Infuriated by the tweet, Owens claimed the tweet had been photoshopped while Cardi pointed to some blogs who already picked up the story as accurate.

The taunt resulted in Owens threatening to get lawyers involved as she accused Cardi of slandering her brother and husband. A few hours later, she confirmed that she has received permission from her family, to go ahead with Suing the singer..

As Owens continued to get upset over Cardi's tweet, the singer continued to tweet about the situation and even promoted her new track  “UP.”

This was alongside an image of former first lady Melania Trump, who had innocently been dragged into this whole mess.

On Thursday, Owens brought attention to Cardi's deleted tweets and suggested that the singer deleted her brother and husband's salacious claim over a legal victory. She continued that she won't stop until she became the CEO and chairman of "WAP."

Cardi responded to her and clarified that she only deleted the tweets because they were not entertaining anyone and she was for entertainment and fun only.

She further advised the author to ‘get a life’ as it had been two days since the first tweet.

Owens shot back that the defamatory tweet was the only deleted one. She explained that she made the tweet knowing it was about private family matters..

Cardi, however, ignored Owens and instructed her fans to reply to any troll tweeting about her with a video of her song, "UP."

Twitter Ruling On Ex-First Lady's Nude Picture

All the while the drama was ongoing, there were debates about the naked photos of former First Lady Melania Trump posted on Twitter by Cardi B, as it violated the platform's rule.

However, according to a Twitter spokesperson, no law was violated. 

The spokesperson explained to The Independent that although the company has a non-consensual nudity policy that would result in immediate suspension of the offending account, previously published images with the person's consent loses that right.

The image of the former First Lady was first published in 1996 in a French magazine.
