Kim Kardashian made a case for the "slim-thick" trend as she sizzled in metallic swimwear while promoting her SKIMS brand in January 2022. Enjoying a beach-set shoot as she stripped down to a silver bikini from her best-selling clothing and shapewear range, the billionaire mogul flaunted her jaw-dropping curves ahead of the w`eight loss she made headlines for that year, and fans couldn't help but comment. Showcasing a two-piece from SKIMS Swim and joined by pals Natalie Halcro and Olivia Pierson, Kim sizzled in the sun, likely also getting richer as a result of the photos.

When The Daily Mailpublished photos of Kim in her tiny silver bikini, it noted her "famous derriere" and "envy-inducing body." Admittedly, not everyone in the comments agreed, with many users thinking that Kim Kardashian has achieved her world-famous figure through surgery. Throwing out a "liposuction" suggestion, one fan considered "unnatural to be thin and thick at the same time."
Predicting hate, one user backed the reality star as they said: "In before all the overweight, middle aged, ferociously jealous, divorcees come in and slate Kim. Her booty is divine." Kim has always denied having plastic surgery, although she has admitted to using Botox and fillers on her face.

Also shouting out SKIMS was this hot pink look as Kim went full Barbiecore on Malibu Beach. Getting cheeky in a thong as she flaunted her backside and rocked a sporty, zip bikini top, Kim reminded fans of the endless array of styles offered by her brand, one that's now expanding via brick and mortar stores.
"We went through so many different names," Kim told LA Times of naming her brand. "We were thinking, “It’s like skin. It’s on your body. It’s [a second] skin.” But I wanted Kim in it — because that was the reason I [originally] picked Kimono, so I just thought, “Skim,” and then we put an “s” on the end because we kept on always saying, “Can I have my Skims?” … It was perfect," she added.
