It comes after the 43-year-old singer was arrested and charged last week in Sag Harbor, Long Island, for driving while intoxicated after allegedly running a stop sign and "failing to keep on the right side of the roadway" in his 2025 BMW.

Documents about his charging noted that his "eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests."

Fears had surfaced about the effect of his legal woes on his tour, but a source recently told People magazine that it will go on as scheduled.

"It's business as usual for him," the insider shared. "The tour is continuing as planned."

Timberlake could have avoided his recent legal woes if only he'd heeded a prior warning from the same cop who arrested him.

According to the New York Post, a police source said that the young cop who arrested the "Cry Me A River" crooner stopped him twice that day but only warned him the first time not to continue with his trip.

"He was stopped and advised not to drive," the source shared. "The officer didn't recognize him; he's a young guy. And he still gave Justin a break because he didn't pose an immediate danger."

The infamous cop has since been identified as 23-year-old Michael Arkinson, who reportedly "thought that was the end of it, that this guy would get a ride home."

The source shared that "several minutes later," as Arkinson went about his duties on another side of the village, Timberlake "was observed by the same officer, driving."

"What a dumba-s," the tipster exclaimed. "I am thinking he could afford a driver. How's that for entitlement?"

According to the Daily Mail, an insider close to Justin Timberlake's wife, Jessica Biel, shared that she is unhappy about her husband's recent run-in with the law.

The insider noted that Biel is "embarrassed" but hopes that the incident inspires him to reduce his alcohol intake.

"Jessica is disappointed but he is her husband so she is by his side and will have his back through all of it," the source said. "She would like Justin to curb his drinking so he never gets into a situation like this ever again. She is treating it like a slap on the wrist and is hoping that it doesn't lead to anything more severe in the future."
