Andy Cohen Toasts To 15 Years Of 'Watch What Happens Live' With FRESCA Mixed

It’s time to raise a glass to 15 years of fun, laughter, surprising moments, and drama this Sunday during the “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” 15-year anniversary special on Bravo. 

Cohen will be saying “Cheers” to the special show with a refreshing glass of FRESCA Mixed since he’s recently partnered with the brand to bring a few lucky winners some cool prizes next week.

As a big fan of FRESCA, partnering with the brand was a no-brainer for Cohen who says it’s been his “mixer of choice for many years.” 

“This partnership is so organic and it’s been going on even without it going on,” he told The Blast exclusively. “Before they engaged me it was going on and we launched four new flavors of FRESCA Mixed, four new vodka spritz flavors.” 

Cohen shared that his go-to is peach, but he also loves the watermelon and black cherry flavors.

“They’re really good. They’ve spent time really considering what the mixer is gonna be and what the flavor is gonna be,” he said. “The fact that I was naturally mixing Fresca and tequila for so many years now and now I get to partner with them, it’s absolutely perfect.” 

Ice is an important part of any refreshing drink and Cohen doesn’t play when it comes to the ice in his drinks. 

“I’m a huge ice guy. I love fancy ice, legitimately. I’m not making a joke,” he told The Blast. “I think ice makes the drink. I think it has to be the right kind.”

Because of his love of the right kind of ice, he wants fans to know about their opportunity to “snag one of the limited edition kits” by entering the brand’s sweepstakes.

Cohen is also gearing up for a fun-filled bar crawl in the Hamptons.

“We did it last summer and this summer we’re doing it again,” he said. “You have to enter to get the details, but I will be in Montauk. We can hang out, take pictures, whatever. And I’m basically also just giving away FRESCA Mix, so it’s a great time.”

“I’ve got the 15th-anniversary special of ‘Watch What Happens Live’ airing on Sunday night on Bravo and it’s an amazing show. It’s a great look back at 15 years,” Cohen exclusively told The Blast. “We’ve got guests in the studio. It’s laugh out loud.” 

When asked if he has a favorite Real Housewives franchise, Cohen said they are “like all my children” but he is particularly excited for one specific franchise’s new season to begin.

“I’m really excited about the upcoming season of Orange County. It’s the 100th season we’ve done. It’s really great,” he said. “I bring up Orange County because they were the first so I have a special connection to them.” 

According to Bravo.com, the 15th anniversary special will feature guests Porsha Williams (The Real Housewives of Atlanta), Phaedra Parks (Married to Medicine), Luann De Lesseps and Sonja Morgan (The Real Housewives of New York), Teresa Giudice and daughter Milania Giudice (The Real Housewives of New Jersey) and more.

Cohen, dad to son Ben, 5, and daughter Lucy, 2, loves being a father. When asked what the biggest struggle is being a working, single dad, he said “quality time.” 

“I think just trying to have quality time with your kids every day when you’re doing a lot of other stuff,” he said. “On the weekends, it’s much easier obviously. During the week, the days can kind of escape you and that’s really hard.” 

But the rewards outweigh the struggles, by far.

“I feel very centered and grounded in a way I never felt before and just the little things and the connection. Just the connectivity and the love,” he said. “It feels really good. It feels really nice.”

About a week ago, Cohen spoke to Entertainment Tonight at the Tribeca Festival in New York City for the Storytellers: Andy Cohen in Conversation about “Watch What Happens Live” and a particular change that’s happened since becoming a father.

“When the show started, the first few years, I would go out after every show and close down the Boom Boom Room. Now, I race home and I’m in bed by 11:30,” he said. 

Cohen also said that his son is completely aware of how exciting the show’s 15-year milestone is for him.

“And I think Ben is a little sick of me in that way,” he said. “But he knows that I’m good for a hug and a good time.”
