Ayesha Curry Publicly Announced Her Pregnancy In March
Ayesha, 35, announced that she was expecting her fourth baby in Sweet July magazine's first digital issue in early March.
"For so many years, Stephen and I thought we were done. We said, 'Three, that's it, we're not doing this again,'" she said in the story featured in Sweet July. "And then, last year, we looked at each other and agreed we wanted to do this again."
She explained that for her, it was a decision that happened because she felt like there was something missing. Baby number four will "complete our family."
This pregnancy was different for Ayesha. Being a mom to older kids who have their own hectic schedules, brings a new experience for her during this pregnancy.
"I now have older children, who have full lives and schedules that we're balancing on a daily basis on top of work and all the family things," she said. "I'm also realizing how quickly time has gone by with our first three children, who are now self-sufficient and don't need as much from us."

"Introducing, The Village Issue, an appropriate theme for Founder Ayesha Curry who excitedly announces her growing family," the caption reads.
Many viewers loved the way she announced her fourth child.
"What a way to announce your pregnancy!!! On the cover of your own magazine too! ICONIC," one person wrote in the comments. Another added, "FINALLLYYYYYY! What a BOMB! Way to share the news. More Blessings!"
Ayesha talked about what it's like for her to be pregnant in her 30s in the "Sweet July" article.
"I'm in my 30s, and so there's all this paperwork referring to the experience as a 'geriatric pregnancy' and all the concerns that come along with that. I think there's something that needs to be more nuanced when it comes to women, their age, and conversations around having children," she explained.
"Many women in their 30s and 40s are going through this for the first time, and being told you're 'old' feels alarming and wild. I think the narrative needs to be shifted a little bit."
Stephen And Ayesha Curry Planned The Pregnancy Around This Big Event!
Stephen, 36, revealed that the couple's fourth pregnancy was planned around a specific timeframe avoiding July and August.
"We thought about it ahead of time, which was nice. If the timing didn't work at a certain month in the fall, we actually would have made a different decision knowing the Olympics were on the radar," Stephen told the Associated Press.
"So, thankfully, the Lord looked out for us and if everything goes to plan, I'll be available this summer."
Stephen was one of the 12 names announced by USA Basketball as the initial roster for this year's Paris Olympics. And while it's possible the roster gets altered before the first practice in July, Stephen wanted to be sure to have those months free and clear because this is something he's wanted to do for a long time.
"I wanted to play in the last two that I was eligible for," Stephen said, referring to the Rio de Janeiro Games and the Tokyo Games. "Watching guys that I've been competing against the last 10 years all have that experience win gold medals, watching three of my teammates win gold medals, I knew I wanted to do that."
