A never-before-seen footage of embattled music producer Sean' Diddy' Combs assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie, has been released.
The shocking footage was obtained from a hotel surveillance video dating back to 2016, and it shows the rapper battering Cassie by grabbing, kicking, and shoving her around.
The physical altercation in the clip also matches the claims made by Cassie in her lawsuit against Diddy from last year, which was quickly settled within hours of it being filed.
Diddy Assaults Ex-Girlfriend Cassie In Newly Released Footage
According to CNN, the footage is from a clip of the couple involved in a violent altercation back in 2016 while they were at a hotel.
In the video, Cassie emerges from a hotel room and makes her way to the elevators. Diddy could then be seen following Cassie down a hallway while carrying a towel around his waist.
Cassie then gets grabbed by the neck and flung to the the rapper. The footage then shows him turning to kick her while still keeping his towel closed with one hand.
While Cassie is still on the floor, Combs can be seen retrieving a purse from near the elevators. He then goes back to kick Cassie, who is lying on the floor motionless, two times. The video shows that there is a pause of around four seconds between each kick.

The next scene shows Cassie getting up slowly as she picks up objects from the floor and walks over to the hallway wall by the elevators to retrieve what appears to be a cell phone. Combs comes back, still wearing socks and a towel. The music producer then appears to shove Cassie again, as captured by a mirror just across from the security camera.
A few moments later, the Diddy sits in a chair, picks something up off a table, and proceeds to throw it directly at Cassie.
Cassie's Lawyer Brands The Newly Released Footage 'Gut-Wrenching'
The gruesome video seemingly matches some of the violent incidents described by Cassie in her bombshell lawsuit last year.
The R&B singer's lawyer has since spoken out about the newly released footage, noting: "The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light."
Last year, Cassie's scathing lawsuit against Diddy was settled very quickly. It was confirmed that a New York court had dismissed the suit after the parties came to an agreement. The case was dismissed "with prejudice and without costs or fees to either party. "
Due to the type of dismissal, the singer won't be able to file the suit ever again. It would have to be based on different accusations with supporting evidence. The million-dollar settlement was announced just a day after the lawsuit was filed and made public.
Cassie Spoke Out After The Swift Lawsuit Settlement
Cassie's attorney, Douglas Wigdor, released a statement obtained by The Blast that she and Diddy had agreed on a deal "to their mutual satisfaction."
Cassie's statement read, "I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support."
For his part, Diddy released a statement that they'd "decided to resolve this matter amicably." The famous rapper and businessman said he wishes "Cassie and her family all the best." His attorney, Ben Brafman, previously said that Diddy "vehemently denies" everything Cassie accused him of.
Cassie's Scathing Accusations Against Diddy
In the legal filing made by Cassie, she alleged that her ex-boyfriend, Diddy, controlled and abused her for over ten years. Cassie claimed that the rapper drugged her, beat her, and forced her to have sex with numerous male sex workers, all on video.
The "Me & U" singer stated in her suit that their relationship began in 2007, and Diddy quickly began a pattern of severe abuse. Cassie claimed that the rapper was "prone to uncontrollable rage" and would subject her to "savage" beatings, often punching, kicking, and stomping on her.
Cassie further alleged that the music producer once broke into her home right before the end of their relationship and forced her to sleep with him.
Cassie Describes Diddy' Stomping On Her Face' After Seeing Her Chat With Another Manager
In her lawsuit, Cassie recalled speaking "to another music manager at a party in Los Angeles," which caused Diddy to "become enraged."
The legal document read: "She had hoped speaking to this manager would allow her to further grow her career, and that Mr. Combs would be happy for her, but instead he became extremely angry and pulled her out of the club where the party was taking place. In the car leaving the club, Mr. Combs beat Ms. Ventura, pushing her into a corner of the vehicle and stomping on her face."
It continued, "When the car arrived at Mr. Combs' residence, Ms. Ventura attempted to run away, but Mr. Combs followed her and proceeded to again kick her in the face. Ms. Ventura was bleeding profusely and was ushered into Mr. Combs' home, where she began to throw up from the violent assault."
