Singer Cassie has been spotted in public for the first time since the news of her $30 million lawsuit against Sean "Diddy" Combs shocked the world.

The singer was photographed with her husband, mother, and daughters and looked happy with a bright smile. The lawsuit was dismissed earlier this week after Cassie and Diddy settled out of court for $30 million.

Cassie's lawsuit against Diddy was settled last week. On Monday, it was confirmed that a New York court had dismissed the suit after the parties came to an agreement. The case was dismissed "with prejudice and without costs or fees to either party. "

Due to the prejudiced dismissal, Cassie won't be able to file the suit ever again. It would have to be based on different accusations with supporting evidence. The million-dollar settlement was announced just a day after the lawsuit was filed and made public.

Cassie's attorney, Douglas Wigdor, released a statement obtained by The Blast that she and Diddy had agreed on a deal "to their mutual satisfaction."

In the lawsuit, Cassie stated that she met Diddy in 2005 when she was 19 and he was 37. Soon after, she signed on to his label, and he introduced her to his "ostentatious, fast-paced, and drug-fueled lifestyle."

The "Me & U" singer wrote that their relationship began in 2007, and Diddy quickly began a pattern of severe abuse. Cassie claimed that the rapper was "prone to uncontrollable rage" and would subject her to "savage" beatings, often punching, kicking, and stomping on her.

The lawsuit alleged that Diddy would ply Cassie with various hard drugs and force her to sleep with other men. These encounters would often feature the rapper masturbating and would be recorded. She also shared multiple occasions of Diddy raping her, including one occasion in 2018 while she tried to end their relationship.
