During the latest episode of her "misSPELLING" podcast, Spelling made a self-deprecating comment about her hoarding lifestyle. In her words:

"I'm a hoarder, you guys! Hi, my name's Tori and I'm a hoarder. There I said it. I always tell people, 'I'm not a hoarder. I'm a collector.'"

Reflecting on her journey, the 50-year-old shared how relocating her family to an Airbnb after discovering a mold infestation in their home offered her some perspective.

"I can breathe because I don't have all my sh-t falling on top of me. I would like to clean up my life for my kids because they deserve better," Spelling told her listeners.

The blonde beauty then conceded that her now-estranged husband "was right" about wanting "to clear these out" for a lengthy period. As she recalled:

Spelling continued the conversation by likening her struggle with parting with her belongings to erasing a part of herself. Unfortunately, she will have to come to terms with that idea as the date for losing her four storage facilities is May 1.

Spelling stated, "But now I'm ready to let go of a lot of stuff. Well, because I have to, because I can't pay for it."

After noting that she did not "want sympathy," the mother of five confessed that she "wasn't taught how to function in the real world" and was now doing her best.

She added, "I'm not good with money. I suck with money. I didn't even know how to write a check until I was in my 40s."

Spelling's relationship with McDermott recently reached a turning point when she allowed him access to their kids again. Per The Blast, she dished on the details of their new phase on a previous podcast episode, saying:

"We're co-parenting very well right now. Like, the kids are seeing him again, and they're happy with his progress and the work he's done on himself. And they're proud of him, and we like his girlfriend."

The author further explained, "And we all co-parent together and living the dream. You hope it works out like that. You always hope that. I don't know. I don't know what's gonna happen now."

Spelling's decision for McDermott to resume communication with their children only happened after she noticed notable progress in his treatment for substance abuse issues.

Just days before the "A Friend To Die For" actress shared the update, an insider claimed that Spelling and McDermott had become cordial with each other. They expressed:

"It's not a volatile situation on either end, and things are actually pretty cordial between them. Their coparenting situation is fine and continuing to get better."

The source's declaration came after witnesses observed the former lovebirds in an emotional reunion at a storage unit.

The scene featured a visibly teary Spelling seemingly tossing a bag towards McDermott, indicating the emotional weight of their separation.

The heartbreaking moment did not stop another informant from doubling down on the progress McDermott and Spelling have made since their separation. They claimed, "Tori and Dean are in a much better space."

Spelling previously spoke about how the arrival of her and McDermott's children altered their marital dynamic. As The Blast observed, on one episode of "misSpelling," the "True Tori" star confessed:

"We always said, 'We won't be those parents that change. We'll make sure we make our relationship a priority, the two of us. We have date nights.' And everything went out the window. I became completely focused on the kids and kind of left him, in a way."

Delving into the emotional toll of feeling isolated in her role as a parent, Spelling added:

"I really felt like I was in this alone with the kids' and he was there, but he was an extra set of hands. He put the car seat in because I didn't know how to do it and things like that. Emotionally, I was it."
