Sofia Vergara & Joe Manganiello's Single Status Officially Restored

Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello's chapter together is officially over, as a judge recently signed off on their divorce.

According to new documents obtained by The Blast, the former lovebirds concluded their separation with a settlement and had their marital status dissolved. In simple words, the pair are once again legally single.

The legal filing revealed the judgment of dissolution was passed on April 4, restoring the former couple to their single status. It also stipulated how the pair settled their divorce alongside the division of their assets.

Before their marriage in November 2015, Vergara and Manganiello entered into a prenuptial agreement that remained valid by the time of their separation.

Per their prenup, the pair agreed to waive their rights to spousal support and asked the court to terminate all claims of alimony or maintenance fees. The same applied to their attorney costs and expenses incurred in the divorce proceedings.

As dictated by their prenuptial agreement, Manganiello walked away with all the items listed as his sole and separate property. The list includes his clothing, jewelry, and miscellaneous personal effects.

The “Magic Mike” star also got to keep all of his “earnings and accumulations” since his and Vergara’s date of separation, which was listed as July 2, 2023. The same applied to all the properties in his name, possession, control, and those not awarded to his ex-wife.

As for Vergara, she got all of her personal belongings, including jewelry and clothing, as well as her earnings since the pair's separation. Additionally, all the assets in her name and those identified as separate property were left in her care.

Two months before a judge restored their single status, Vergara and Manganiello settled their divorce. The agreement came about seven months after the actor filed for divorce in July 2023.

“The parties have entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights, including support, the original of which is being or has been submitted to the court. I request that the court approve the agreement,” the document filed by Manganiello read.

The "True Blood" actor and Vergara first announced their separation in a joint statement after fans noticed something was wrong with their relationship. “We have made the difficult decision to divorce,” their message began, adding:

“As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”

In February, the “Modern Family” star appeared ready to return to the dating pool as she was spotted on her first romantic outing after leaving Manganiello.

Vergara was seen having a blast with orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman, with the pair smiling brightly as they had dinner at Cipriani restaurant in Beverly Hills, California.

For the date, the actress flaunted her famous curves in a sheer black corset top, matching satin pants, and a trench coat. She completed the all-black ensemble with a brown-toned leather clutch pouch and flawless makeup.

Meanwhile, Saliman opted for a casual look, wearing a blue and black plaid shirt and a dark leather jacket. The pair first made waves in October 2023 when they were photographed going to dinner in Beverly Hills.

While Vergara turned heads with her outings with Saliman, Manganiello caused a stir by getting cozy with his new girlfriend, Caitlin O'Connor.

Following his divorce settlement in February, the 47-year-old reportedly took their relationship to new heights by moving in with O'Connor. Sources claimed the pair were head over heels for each other, especially because of their shared Pittsburgh roots.

They have been spotted enjoying romantic dates in the vibrant streets of New York City and the romantic landscapes of Italy. Manganiello's beloved dog Bubbles had also warmed up to his new girlfriend, helping their relationship blossom even more.

News of the duo's romance surfaced last September after Manganiello connected with the up-and-coming actress following a meeting at a "Winning Time" after-party. Then, they made their relationship public at NYC's Children of Armenia Fund Gala in December.
