West's Instagram handle finally aligns with his name, "Ye." In 2021, he announced to the world that he no longer wants to be referred to as "Kanye West" but instead as "Ye."

The rapper stated at the time that this was because Ye is "the most commonly used word in the Bible. And in the Bible, it means, 'You.' I'm all of you."

West subsequently effected the name change for all things related to him. However, he has clearly been having trouble changing it on certain social media platforms such as Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).

On Wednesday, he took to his IG page to state that he would close down his account if it continued to reflect his government name.

Kanye West Blasts Ex-Wife Kim Kardashian Over Their Kids' School

After the IG handle matter, the rapper turned his attention to his ex-wife, reality TV star and business mogul Kim Kardashian, demanding that she remove their kids from their current school, Sierra Canyon.

West has always made his dislike for the school known and has ranted multiple times about Kardashian allegedly stopping his children from attending his own school, Donda Academy, which has since closed down.

Elaborating further, West wrote in the caption of his post: "At this point everybody knows what 'the system' is code word for."

Late last year, West, in a video, went on an anti-Semitic rant, slamming several of his colleagues for not supporting him and branding them "Zionists." He also took shots at Kardashian and their kids' school, Sierra Canyon.

He said at the time, "All y'all rich n---- got your kids in that zionist school. F--- Sierra Canyon. My daughter ripped up the motherf---- couches in the house to be able to be here with me right now."
