Late Adam was not very involved with his father's reality show or store and led a more private life. Harrison shared his Adam and his elder brother, Corey, with his former wife, Kim. He welcomed his other son, Jake, with his second wife, Tracy.

Before his death, Adam was allegedly employed at Gold & Silver Pawn prior to the 2009 launch of the show.  "Pawn Stars" follows the Harrison employees at their Vegas Gold & Silver Pawn Shop as they authenticate items brought into their store and make offers to their sellers.

The show has been running since 2009, with its 22nd season wrapping up in June 2023 as fans await announcements about season 23.
