When the "Sister Wives" star announced her split from longtime husband Kody Brown in January 2023, she became the third spouse to leave the polygamous relationship. However, she is officially the second to find love again, as her blossoming relationship coincides with Christine Brown's remarriage to David Woolley.

Speculations about Meri's mystery lover started circulating after she unveiled her 53rd birthday wish list just days earlier. Her number one wish got fans praying for the businesswoman to return to the dating pool; however, their hopes were secretly fulfilled.

The Lizzie's Heritage Inn owner confirmed the rumors are true in her latest Instagram update, where she introduced fans to her new boyfriend, Amos. She shared sweet pictures of the couple, from them posing in front of Christmas decorations to having fun with a large brown dog outdoors.

All the snaps had one thing in common — the duo posing happily with Meri's irresistible bright smile on full display. Her newfound happiness similarly echoed throughout the post's caption, which read:

"Birthday #53 is looking a bit different for me this year, and might I say, I like how it looks! Meet Amos, the good looking guy I've been dating since October!"

The couple's romance timeline came months after Meri ended her marriage to Kody, and it coincided with the same month former wife Christine said her vows. While the inn owner didn't dwell on the coincidence, she happily raved about Amos and their relationship.

"He's not 6 foot 6, nor is he a pilot, but he loves Christmas almost as much as I do, and we laugh a lot together, both of which are important elements to a relationship!" Meri continued, noting that Zona, her dog (seen in the pictures), "absolutely loves" Amos.

As for why she kept the duo's romance private, the TLC star confessed that she didn't want to share the news while the pair were in the starting phase of their love story. "I've been keeping this kind of close to me as we've been enjoying the last few months of dating and getting to know each other," she explained, adding:

"As I've considered when and how I wanted to share this fun news and share him with the world (jk, not really sharing, I'm keeping him to myself) I knew I wanted to celebrate my birthday in a special way and let you celebrate this with me!" 

Meri concluded the post, "I feel like I'm getting this year off to a great start, and I can't wait to share more with you as the year moves forward!"

The announcement naturally excited fans, with many supporting the entertainer's new romance. "Should have dropped Kody a decade ago. Happiness looks so much better on you!" Someone observed, with another writing: "MERI, I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Days before debuting her new relationship, Meri dropped an exciting list for her 53rd birthday. The upload was a joint social media post with the reality TV star's best friend, Jenn Sullivan, who compiled the list from the duo's conversations.

"OK @therealmeribrown make a wish! Here are ideas based on comments, messages, and recent conversations! What'll it be?" Sullivan captioned the post, which housed 25 things Meri wished to do for her birthday.

The compilation featured various wishes, from adventurous activities to beauty sessions and visiting other countries. The businesswoman wanted to skydive, climb Mount Timpanogos, visit Canada, enjoy a spa date, and more. However, fans were more interested in her number one wish.

Meri wanted quality time with a new man, with her number one wish being a "Birthday dinner date with a great guy." Many wondered if this gesture was the 53-year-old's way of confirming a new relationship and flooded the comment section with hopeful reactions.

"Definitely #1, then make most of your list with him," a fan begged, while another wrote: "Number one, and then take the great guy with you on the rest :) And when in Greece, take a trip up to Norway. Happy Birthday."
