Jayson Boebert's arrest warrant shows that he was involved in an altercation with his ex-wife on Saturday evening, prior to his being taken into custody on assault charges on Tuesday. It has also exposed another incident involving Jayson and one of his sons.

According to a report, a warrant was issued for Jayson's arrest on Tuesday over an alleged tussle with his son.

Tyler, the 18-year-old son of Lauren and Jayson, reportedly called the Garfield County Sheriff's Office to report what he alleged was a physical altercation with his father.

The teenager claimed that while his dad was at their house, he became enraged because a baby was sleeping in a laundry basket filled with clothes. This then led to a fight between the father and son, during which Tyler claimed an allegedly angry Jayson put his thumb in his mouth.

According to Tyler, his father, at one point, "grabbed a rifle." The teenager finally phoned his mother, who advised him to call 911. Tyler then told the authorities what had happened, and they were able to obtain an arrest warrant for Jayson on charges of third-degree assault, harassment, and prohibited use of a weapon.

The reports revealed that law enforcement officers received a phone call about possible "domestic violence" at Miners Claim restaurant and then subsequently got another call from Lauren herself, where she could be heard saying, "I just touched your nose" and her ex-husband shouting, "She punched me in the face."

Before his arrest, Jayson claimed that he was the victim of "domestic abuse" and noted that he had been punched in the face multiple times by his ex-wife, a claim Boebert has since denied.

When police finally showed up, they claimed to have run into the Colorado state representative and her ex-husband outside the Miner's Claim restaurant in Silt, Colorado. According to a comment from Boebert seen in the documents, the former couple was attempting to patch things up when things went south.

Things further spiraled between the duo, with Jayson claiming he was punched by his ex and Lauren stressing that she barely touched his nose. Police claim that as they were attempting to get information from them and witnesses, Jayson became unruly and disobeyed orders, allegedly demanding more alcohol and refusing to leave the establishment when requested to do so by management.

Per the report, Jayson had to be "physically escorted off the premises" after resisting. He allegedly tried to stop the police from removing him from the restaurant "by grabbing the door frame." Neither Jayson nor Lauren was arrested for the incident that day.

Jayson has since been released on a $2,500 bail.
