In 2005, there was a raid on the late Jeffrey Epstein's home by the FBI. A video from the raid was released to the public in 2021 as part of Ghislaine Maxwell's trial. But, according to a report, the video was initially released in 2019, after Epstein committed suicide while in prison awaiting trial for his sex trafficking crimes.

The lengthy video showed Palm Beach police officers making their way into Epstein's vacant home with their weapons out. Inside the building were eerie paintings of naked women adorning the walls of the "horror house."

The home of the late financier was demolished in 2021. Developer Todd Michael Glaser bought the sprawling property for $18.5 million in March 2021 and announced his plans to destroy the mansion shortly after.

Following Epstein's successful suicide in a Manhattan jail in 2019, the proceeds from the sale were directed to the Victims' Compensation Program, which provided reparations to the victims of the convicted pedophile, according to the New York Post.

In a chat with the Palm Beach Daily News, the real estate broker who put the home up for sale revealed that he did so to ensure it would get destroyed.

"I only got involved in the sale of Jeffrey Epstein's residence to ensure it would be wiped off the map of Palm Beach," Lawrence Moens stated.
