Former President Donald Trump is going about his business despite his name appearing in the recently unsealed documents related to Jeffrey Epstein.
Rather than trying to clear his name, although there hasn't been any concrete evidence of wrongdoing by the former President, he is focusing on the primary races.
"Trump doesn’t care,” a source close to the former President said. “There’s nothing new or bad [in the new files.]”
Donald Trump Has 'Enough On His Plate' Right Now
With the New Hampshire primary coming up, the source says, “Trump has got enough on his plate right now to worry about.
Although Trump is focused on the primary race, the fact that his name appeared in the Epstein docs still has some people's interest -- especially since Trump and Epstein have a history.
“I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy,” Trump told New YorkMagazineof his relationship with Epstein in 2002. “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”
Trump reportedly traveled on Epstein's jet several times before Epstein faced accusations of trafficking minors, but there is no concrete proof that this happened.
Plus, according to the unsealed documents from the 2015 defamation case between victim Virginia Giuffre and Epstein’s co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell, witness Johanna Sjoberg claimed Epstein visited Trump's casino in the past.
“Great, we’ll call up Trump, and we’ll go to—I don’t recall the name of the casino, but—we’ll go to the casino,” Sjoberg claimed Epstein said while flying on his private jet from Palm Beach to Atlantic City.
However, Trump and Epstein reportedly had a falling out after they fought over a Palm Beach mansion in 2004.
More Documents Relating To Jeffrey Epstein To Be Released
More than 200 documents relating to Jeffrey Epstein are expected to be released, which will include both depositions and legal motions from victims and others involved with the s-x trafficker.
So far, hundreds of associates have been named in the papers, including Bill and Hillary Clinton, Cate Blanchett, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Naomi Campbell, none of whom have been accused of wrongdoing.
According to the documents, a lawyer asked one of Epstein's victims, Johanna Sjoberg, if she had ever met actors Blanchett or DiCaprio, to which she said, “I did not meet them, no. When I spoke about them, it was when I was massaging him [Epstein], and he would get off – he would be on the phone a lot at that time, and one time he said: ‘Oh, that was Leonardo,’ or, ‘That was Cate Blanchett or Bruce Willis.’ That kind of thing.”
Actors Kevin Spacey, Bruce Willis, and 'Star Wars' director George Lucas were also named in the newly unsealed documents, however, they have not been accused of wrongdoing.
Others who were named, including Prince Andrew, have been accused of having improper relations with minors through Jeffrey Epstein and his island.
