Kathy Griffin has spoken out on her shocking split from her husband of three years, Randy Bick.

Griffin seems to be taking her separation from Bick in good spirits, as she just took to social media to react to the news of their divorce making headlines.

The comedian shared a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, that read, "Well…sh--. This sucks."

In her divorce filing, obtained by The Blast, Griffin requested that the court terminate spousal support and enforce their prenup. Since the pair had no kids during their marriage, there would be no legal battle over child custody.

Fans of the comic sympathized with her on her split from Bick, with one person writing, "So sorry, sweetie! You know you will hurt, survive - and then thrive. You have been an inspiration to many! Wishing you the best."

Another said, "I'm so sorry Kathy. You guys have been through a lot together. I know your friends will be there for you and that it is as amicable as a parting can be."

"I don't know you but have been following your career since the 90s, and consider myself a fan. I am sorry to hear about your divorce. I hope it was nothing shady like with the previous husband. Good luck, I know this must be hard to go through in the midst of a big tour," said a third fan of the star.

Bick and Griffin married a few hours into the New Year in 2020 and would have marked their fourth wedding anniversary in a few days.

She announced her marriage on social media at the time, saying, "Happy New Year — and, surprise! We're getting married."

Griffin added, "The entire ceremony was just under 14 minutes, but I have to give you guys the uncut first 75 seconds. LOVE IT! We promised you atypical. We are in love, and we cannot stop laughing. Thank you, @LilyTomlin and Jane Wagner! #HappyNewYear."

The former couple's wedding was officiated by award-winning actress Lily Tomlin, who gave a heartfelt and hilarious speech at their wedding.

Tomlin said, "What was supposed to be a shallow, 'toot it and boot it' one-night stand has grown and flourished into something far more meaningful… They stayed together. Then they couldn't stay away from one another."

She then later appeared in a hospital bed after the procedure was done.

"This is part of my recovery post lung cancer surgery," she said, adding, "I'm cancer free." Griffin continued, "So anyway, I'm a little scratchy today, but I'll be in good shape!"
