Hollywood star Vin Diesel has refuted scathing allegations against him by a former assistant. The actor was accused of sexual assault by a woman who claims to have worked with him on the set of "Fast Five" in 2010.

According to Diesel, this is the first time he's heard of this incident, which he described as "outlandish" via his lawyer. In the lawsuit, the actor was accused of groping and coercing his ex-assistant into sexual acts despite her telling him no on multiple occasions.

Vin Diesel Denies Sexual Assault Allegations

Diesel swiftly addressed the sexual assault lawsuit brought against him by his former assistant, identified as Asta Jonasson. The "Fast & Furious" star released a statement through his lawyer, calling the allegations false and emphasizing that there is proof of Diesel's innocence.

The actor's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, said, "Let me be very clear Vin Diesel categorically denies this claim in its entirety. This is the first he has ever heard about this more than 13-year-old claim made by a purportedly nine-day employee."

"There is clear evidence which completely refutes these outlandish allegations," he added, per Deadline. The alleged sexual assault incident took place in 2010 at a hotel suite.

In a legal filing obtained by The Blast, Jonasson, who was hired by One Race company as an assistant for Diesel in 2010, claimed that she was all alone with Diesel in a hotel suite when he "groped her breasts, and kissed her." According to Jonasson, she "struggled continually to break free of his grasp while repeatedly saying no."

Jonasson was responsible for "organizing parties and catering to Vin Diesel's demands, including staying in close physical proximity to Vin Diesel when he was at parties without his long-time girlfriend with whom he had children because, as he explained, it would provide him with cover if he was photographed with another woman."

Her first assignment as one of his assistants was to immediately travel to the location where the filming of "Fast Five" was taking place, and it was during this period that Diesel allegedly assaulted the victim, who verbally and physically resisted his alleged sexual advances.

In Jonasson's lawsuit, she went into detail about the incident, describing how Diesel "escalated" his alleged assault by following after her when she made a break for the hotel suite's bathroom.

"Vin Diesel escalated his assault, groped her body, dropped to his knees and pushed Ms. Jonasson's dress up, groped her legs, and attempted to pull down Ms. Jonasson's underwear," the document read. "Terrified for her personal safety, Ms. Jonasson screamed and ran towards the nearby bathroom."

It continued, alleging that Diesel "pinned her against the wall with his body, and grabbed Ms. Jonasson's hand and placed it on his erect p----. Disgusted by being forced to touch his p----, Ms. Jonasson instantaneously withdrew her hand and again verbally refused him."

Jonasson claims she could not escape and "closed her eyes, scared of angering" Diesel. At a point, she heard "groaning noises" from the actor, who "released" her and turned on the sink in the bathroom.

On his way out of the room after the assault, Diesel allegedly said to Jonasson, who was "frozen in shock," "No one can say s--- about Asta." The actor then "unexpectedly" returned to the room and asked Jonasson for his phone. She responded that it was in his pocket, to which Diesel replied, "Good Job," before finally leaving the hotel suite.

Jonasson also accused Diesel's sister, Samantha Vincent, the president of One Race company, of firing her and failing to reprimand her brother. She claimed Vincent called her after the alleged assault incident and terminated her from her job.

"The message was clear," the document read. "Ms. Jonasson was fired for courageously resisting Vin Diesel's sexual assault, Vin Diesel would be protected, and his sexual assault covered up."

In the lawsuit, the alleged victim is suing Diesel and One Race company for "compensatory damages and other special and general damages," including "lost earnings, salary, bonuses, and other job benefits" she would have received if she hadn't been allegedly sexually assaulted.

Jonasson is suing for "emotional distress damages," "Punitive and exemplary damages in an amount sufficient to punish [Diesel]" and deter him from "engaging in such conduct in the future."

The lawsuit also requests compensation for "Statutory damages" and a "civil penalty of $10,000 for each violation of sections 98.6 and 1102.5 of the Labor Code." Jonasson wants the actor to cover the cost of "attorneys' fees and costs incurred in this action."
