Andy Cohen remains a steadfast Madonna fan despite being singled out by the iconic songstress!
The TV host received a playful warning from the "Material Girl" hitmaker at one of her concerts, a moment he took pretty well. Although Cohen's demeanor at the show proved he didn't mind Madonna's jabs, he reaffirmed there was no bad blood between the pair in a cute reaction to the viral moment.
Andy Cohen Praises Madonna Despite Being Labeled A 'Troublemaking Queen'
The "Watch What Happens Live!" host recently updated his social media page with his response to Madonna calling him out for allegedly dissing her on his TV show. The upload featured two videos, the first capturing the moment between the duo at the singer's concert in Brooklyn, New York.
During the weekend gig, the Queen of Pop paused her performance to face Cohen, seated in the front row close to the stage. "How f— lucky am I, Andy?" Madonna asked before sternly warning him to stop criticizing her on his show. In her words:
"If you say one more bad thing about me on your show, I'm gonna — I'm gonna — Oh, you're gonna be in so much trouble. You little troublemaking queen."

During the exchange, the camera flipped to Cohen and showed him excitedly responding to the personal call-out. Although his words cannot be heard over the crowd's screams, he was seen mouthing "I love you." However, his declaration of love fell short on Madonna, who sarcastically replied: "Oh, yeah, sure, that's that crazy kind of love. I know about it."
In his Instagram reaction to the moment, the TV personality shared a video compilation of all the moments he named Madonna his Mazel of the day on the "WWHL" show. As stated, he reaffirmed his love for the iconic songstress and embraced his new nickname in the post's caption. Cohen wrote:
"I'm a life-long Madonna fan, so it's a thrill and an honor to be called a 'troublemaking queen' by the Queen of Troublemaking. I BOW! Also – go see the new tour. It blew me away!! What a great night. Can't wait to go back. #TroublemakingQueen."
Cohen's sweet moment with Madonna comes two months after her Celebration Tour hit a significant snag in its early days. Day two of the musician's comeback performance at the O2 Arena in Greenwich did not go as planned following technical difficulties that caused her to start the show late.
She made it to the stage by 9 pm, leaving little room for her to beat the Arena's strict 10:30 pm curfew. Despite her best efforts to give a memorable performance, the 65-year-old had to cut out beloved hit songs, including "Like a Virgin" and "Celebration."
Unfortunately, reducing the performances did not stop Madonna from ending the concert at 11 pm amid warnings that fans might miss the last Tube trains. Breaking the curfew, per the rules drawn up by the arena's operators and Transport for London, meant paying a fine of £10,000 ($12,166) for every minute exceeded.
Since she spent 30 minutes extra, Madonna could have been subjected to £300,000 ($364,990). Fortunately, the Greenwich Council insisted its midnight curfew was not broken, with a rep noting they did not "intend to investigate" the matter.
Madonna Expressed Gratitude To Be Alive Following Health Scare
Before kicking off her Celebration Tour, Madonna suffered a terrifying health scare that left many wondering if she would recover. Despite the odds, she beat the life-threatening crisis to continue bringing joy to fans across the world, but no one was as grateful as she was to be alive.
During her performance in Belgium, the "La Isla Bonita" singer reflected on her miraculous recovery, telling concertgoers: "Less than four months ago, I was in a hospital, and I was unconscious, and people were thinking, predicting that I might not make it."
"It's a f—ing miracle that I'm here right now. My mother, god bless her, she must be watching over me — she said, 'Girl, it's not your time to go,'" Madonna exclaimed as the crowd cheered. The 65-year-old also echoed her appreciation for fans and her children, saying:
"I was given another chance, so I'm very grateful for that. I must tell you I don't feel very well right now, but I can't complain because I'm alive. Thank god for my children and all of your love and support."
Additionally, Madonna's health scare got her thinking about her late mother, who died from breast cancer. She felt sympathy for the deceased matriarch, who must have felt lonely in the hospital while knowing her death was imminent.
