The 41-year-old went on to explain why the project was delayed, admitting, “What happened was — because my album was not done when I was going to originally put it out, I didn’t want the documentary to come out without the music. That would’ve made no sense to people."

"Because of that, that network, they had to go with something else and I couldn't force a documentary out either," she added.

Minaj then shared she's now working with “two people that are really interested” and thinks “it’s going to be a nicer or easier experience to bridge the documentary now with the music.”

Although Minaj would have loved for the documentary to have been out with her fifth studio album, which dropped on December 8, she said, “I think now I wouldn’t have wanted it to come out right now because then it would take time from them really being able to really listen to music."

She added, "And so now that they’ve digested the music, when the documentary comes, it’ll be a different level of emotional roller coaster I think.”

Rapper Nicki Minaj recently opened up about why she decided to get a breast reduction — which came after attending the 2022 Met Gala.

The 41-year-old wore a Burberry look to the event — which featured a very tiny top paired with leather pants and a ruffled train. That outfit is the reason she decided to go forward with a breast reduction.

When trying on her outfit for the 2022 Met Gala, Minaj instantly noticed how her chest area was the main attraction.

“I did my fittings, I told them I loved this hat and I loved what the outfit was giving, but I said, ‘You guys, look, these b---- are going to be spilling out,’” she recalled saying before heading to the red carpet, per our previous report.

This comes after the 40-year-old rapper opened up about body positivity and her breast reduction. “I’m not in favor of body positivity if it means unhealthy bodies. That’s b---. It’s not believable, so let’s stop pretending,” she said, per our previous report. “Recently I had to get a breast reduction, and actually I love it.”

The “Bang Bang” artist continued, “I used to want a bigger b---, and now I look back and realize how silly that was. So love your curves, and love your non-curves. There’s nothing wrong with any of it.”

She then added how no matter your shape or color, you need to embrace yourself and your body, while simultaneously acknowledging that it’s not easy, not even for her.

“I just looked at a video that I posted on Instagram when I was 25, and I would f----ing pay to look like that right now,” she said. “But today I can say that I’m at peace with who I am and how I look. I have to say this as a Black woman, though. I’ve made certain choices for my son, to not give him sweets and candy and juices, because of illnesses like diabetes that run in our community.”

“I’ve had a lot of time to figure myself out,” Minaj then confessed. “The idea of accepting what you can’t change—it just never clicked with me before. Now I understand.”

Minaj also went on to explain how she knows many of her fans crave fame and fortune, but she wants them to “stay in school” as she is a “huge believer in higher education.”
