This doesn't look too good for the "Barbie Tingz" rapper as "without prejudice" indicates that charges can still be refiled in the future. It is unclear if Minaj and the client, Roseark Boutique, made any financial exchange for a settlement, but it is possible the plaintiff can either alter the claim or return to court with a more serious charge against the famous rapper.

Regardless, the plaintiff also asked that the court not waive "court fees and costs for a party in this case." However, the said party wasn't identified.

In June, the boutique accused Nicki of damaging the pieces they lent to her and claimed that she brought them back late in a lawsuit.

In the filing, the plaintiff alleged that the Trini-born rapper was loaned the pieces for an appearance through a connection with her stylist Brett Alan Nelson. A contract was signed for the jewelry that cost $26,239.50. However, the stylist has been accused of failing to return the items she borrowed despite the boutique reaching out to Nelson on several occasions.

Roseark Boutique claimed that Nelson did not return the 66 pieces lent by the agreed contracted deadline. To make matters worse, two pieces were allegedly noticeably damaged when finally returned — a set of earrings and a leaf ring.

The store also claimed they were never paid for their collaboration by either Minaj or her stylist Nelson and requested that they collect damages from the sum of both parties. The exact sum of compensatory damages wasn't specified.

Following the allegations, the "Anaconda" artist denied all claims through her lawyer in a statement, saying:

"We have not been presented with any evidence that Nicki damaged any of the jewelry at issue. This lawsuit appears to be nothing more than an ordinary insurance claim by the jeweler designed to generate publicity for itself and extract a payment to which it is not entitled. We will defend the lawsuit vigorously."

A source seemingly confirmed Minaj's denial, claiming the boutique received the jewelry pieces on time and in the manner lent to the stylist and the rapper. Also, they reportedly didn't complain about the pieces until they already had them in their possession after an undisclosed amount of time.

Nicki Minaj Is Set To Make A Return To Rolling Loud

Lawsuit aside, the iconic female rapper is thriving in her career with the highly-anticipated release of her fifth studio album, "Pink Friday 2" on December 8.

After fans are allowed to enjoy the treat of their idol's new project, they will get to see her on stage at the 2024 Rolling Loud Festival in Miami. The gathering is one of the biggest hip-hop festivals in the world, which attracts hundreds of thousands of fans each year.

Minaj's return to the Rolling Loud stage is undoubtedly a big deal, given that her appearance in March was riddled with technical difficulties. The mother-of-one was supposed to celebrate the release of her single, "Red Ruby Da Sleeze" as well as perform a mash-up of her classic and new songs.

However, her plan didn't come to fruition after the event's audio struggled to align with her planned setlist. Minaj was visibly frustrated during the performance and was heard exclaiming, "Kill the DJ! Kill the sound guy!"

According to an insider,  the issue might have originated from the sound team rather than the DJ, because her mentor, Lil Wayne, had a seamless performance earlier. Nevertheless, Minaj is making her bold return as next year's headliner alongside Post Malone and Lil Uzi Vert.
